This small hotel is located behind a wall on a side street a few blocks from the waterfront of Porto Ayota. It is clean and well cared for. It has a small outdoor patio and pool. The latter is good for kids to play in or adults to cool off in. In the open hallways, large beetles scurry and moths...

My husband I stayed here during a tour of the Galapagos with our two children (7 and 10). The rooms were sparse (by American standards) but clean and more than sufficient. The staff was very accommodating to our family and the pool was perfect for the kids. The best attribute of the hotel, however, is its location. You are able...

Stayed here after an eight night cruise on the Beluga (which was excellent). Hotel located in a quiet backstreet, about five minutes walk from the centre and opposite Laguna de las Ninfas which is a small lagoon in the National Park. Exterior is pretty and well kept as is the small pool. We spent two mornings sitting outside under the...

We stayed here for our last night on a tour to Galapagos. This hotel was close enough to walk to town, and far enough to be quiet. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern. It was not luxurious but the garden was pretty and the pool was refreshing after a hot hike.

Villa Laguna is nice on the outside and inside. Nice flowery courtyard with pool. Rooms are very nice. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was sparse, but good. Our room was very clean, but the bathroom wall did have ants. One complaint was that hotel promotes sustainability by allowing guests not to change towels. We always live this option. We neatly...

In a quiet location a few minutes walk from the main drag. Very clean and well presented. Rooms are large and spacious. Basic but functional. Complete with TV, iron ( no board), hair dryer, fridge and safe. It has its own AC unit which works perfectly and is quiet. Bathrooms are a little small with basic provisions. Not a room...

I spent a night here at the start of a trip out to the Galápagos Islands, before boarding a boat. The rooms are a little basic but have everything you need: the air con works and the beds are comfortable. The garden and terrace areas are beautiful and the pool very inviting. Breakfast options were very good and staff welcoming.

One of the farther hotels right next to ninfas lagoon. By far I mean 5 to 10 mins from the main tourist strip but very close to the malecon and dock where you catch the boats to other islands. WiFi wasn't reliable when I was there but staff are friendly and helpful. There's some barking dogs nearby but otherwise quiet....

This hotel was only a few minutes walk from the downtown of Puerto Ayora (5-10 minutes depending on pace), which is perfect - close enough to have everything nearby but without any noise! Nice and clean, friendly staff, and a great breakfast buffet. The pool was great for cooling down after exploring the town or going on excursions. Wifi was...

This hotel was quiet and out of the way, but still only a 5-8minute walk into downtown. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was great for a cool off, the only thing was the wifi reception was really spotty.
