Dingy and unpleasant but possibly adequate for one night? We stayed our whole trip here and regretted it. We would have moved if we hadn't prepaid. It wasn't awful...I've stayed in worse...but some of the light fixtures didn't work, the plumbing was unreliable, the fire alarm started beeping in the middle of the night (and there was no one available...

On the plus side, this was a good size room which was clean and nice and bright. The staff were pleasant and helpful (or though not in any exceptional way). It was nice to have the use of a large fridge for storing cold drinks. But...there were just a few too many little issues for me for just one night...

Nice hotel. Lovely spacious room. Great pool. Close to everything in Puerto Ayora. Breakfast was fabulous. Quiet location - slept well. FYI tap water on the island is not drinkable. Need to buy your own water at convenience store around the corner.

I used this hotel as a base to travel the islands.I was a little dubious at first but it turend out to be perfect. It was perfectly located on a street just behind the main street, 30 seconds walk to the fish market. It was also exceptionally quiet which meant i always got a great sleep. The owner was always there...

My first impression was just okay, but this place is really pretty decent. All of the places on the island are not like your average US hotels, but this was place has a very accommodating staff that prepared and served breakfasts, made some calls for us, and seemed friendly and interested in our activities. You can walk almost anywhere except...

I'll preface this review by saying the people who own this hotel are extremely distant family members of mine. I am however fair, so you can trust what I'm stating below. The hotel was clean. On any island you can expect tiny lizards running through your room. No surprise there. The A/C was necessary even in November and made the...

This hotel is a great place to stay for a couple of nights. It is clean with a great location on a quiet street. The rooms are large, but sparse. The bathrooms are small and cramped, but clean. The breakfast has eggs either fried or scrambled with fruit.

My family and i stayed here for a week. The staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good, served cheerfully and they remember how you like your eggs so after a couple of days it feels homey. My daughter has allergies and they were accommodating. Our room was thoroughly cleaned every day. We had comfortable beds. The hotel is on...

The rooms are very basic but clean and includes a small refrigerator. The bathroom is very small but the shower had great water pressure! Breakfast was included every morning and was a great start to our day- it included scrambled eggs, basket of bread, fresh juice, and fresh fruit. The location and price of this hotel is what convinced me...

The Pelican Bay feels like a Greek hotel in the 1980s. Clean enough but basic and in need of a good lick of paint. We were initially told that a room we had booked with a safety deposit box was not available but pushing harder suddenly found a room. After that hiccup service was friendly and helpful. Small pool with...
