Great place! Very large room, very good breakfast, very helpful and friendly owner. Where to begin, there was so much I liked. The place is very eco-friendly, has a very nice garden and many details that are carefully selected, like a line to dry bathing suites on the balcony and also a hammock on the balcony. Didn't use it, but liked the idea. The owner seem to have an approach of "I give my guest what I like best myself", like the excellent soap that smells so well (but is is eco-friendly) instead of the cheep stuff you often get in other places. Or the mosquito shield on all windows. Great place indeed!
I visited the Galapagos Suites with my friend in March. The property is exceptionally clean and fresh. We had twin beds and a balcony with hammock and chair. The property was quiet at night but if you wanted some nightlife It took 5 to 10 minutes to walk into town for restaurants, bars and shops etc The breakfast was lovely, fruit, cake, and Joseline would cook eggs to order if you wanted. The thing that makes this place so lovely is Joseline, she has a strong eye for detail. She provides chilled water for your use, tea/coffee and lovely biscuits to eat. All included in our stay. We were probably the last visitors to this lovely place as during our stay we were told that we had to cut our holiday short due to the covid virus and Ecuador were shutting their borders. Joseline and Oswaldo ( our taxi driver) went over and above their roles to ensure that we got home during a very unsettling time when it was difficult to get flights off of the islands. Oswaldo even came to the airport with us checked us in to our flight to make sure we were safe. Thank you both, joseline for your calm and gentle kindness and Oswaldo for your help at the airport. We will never forget how much you looked after us and i hope that when this is over your business continues to flourish x…
We were there as part of our Galapagos trip. Galapagos was proposed to us by our travel agency. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. In general the rooms were clean, the breakfast very yummy, the owners very friendly and the location central. We would choose this hotel absolutely again.
My week long stay at this hotel was perfect. The accommodations are roomy, the entire place is immaculate, the beds are comfortable, and the hosts are knowledgeable and kind. They are also dedicated to the Galapagos, to the extent that the plants in the courtyard are labeled, to allow you to learn a few of the Galapagos plants while you are there. Puerto Ayora is not very big, so almost anything that you want to see is within walking distance. Once you learn the taxi system (small white trucks) you can get a taxi anywhere you don't want to walk, and the owners will help you till you have the idea. The hotel is two blocks off the main road and very peaceful. I loved it there.
This well run B & B with 6 spacey rooms made my 4 nights stay in Puerto Ayora even much more enjoyable. Very comfortable kIng size bed, balcony, hot shower, nice details, lots of fresh air and peacefulness. Adequate safety measures, early breakfast and you get your own key for the house. Joseline is a fantastic host. You will not get a better deal in this price range!
