Detailed Reviews
Loved this hotel and didn't give it 5-stars only because of electric outlet issues. The location is fabulous, right on the harbor close to many good restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, the size sufficient and bathrooms are above par for San Cristobal. You'll get a warm shower. There is a beautiful common deck overlooking the scenic harbor where the sea lions will congregate taking up spots along the rock wall and the benches on the piers. Sorry, travelers but the sea lions get first dibs as do the marine iguanas (as it should be) on seating areas. The only issue with the hotel were the electric outlets - there were only 2 with two outlets each. Two of the outlet were dead and a third would not hold a plug while the fourth was used by the refridgerator. I managed by unplugging the refridgerator to plug in and charge my phone, laptop and to use the electric hot water pot. You should also be aware that the internet is pretty poor - not the hotel's fault but mentioning it so you are aware. This hotel is probably one of the best, if not the best, in San Cristobal. If you are staying in the room named Floreana and you need electric outlets, check to be sure they are working.

Great place, well situated, very clean
I read some of the old reviews and looked at pictures: this place seems to have been newly renovated recently. The style was kept, very individual, but the colors seem to have been changed to look much cleaner, much more inviting.
Over all: a great stay in a nice room. Not like Hilton or anything, very individual rooms but very clean and with a character.
The owner was very helpful and organized us a trip in a taxi with a guide across the island.
Nice breakfast and the same restaurant is has excellent food in the evening.
Nicely positioned, close to the harbor, to the national park and to the city.

We stayed at Casa Blanca for 4 nights. We had the double room "Santa Cruz" for 2 persons.
The location of the hotel is central. Our room faced the street, so it was a bit noisy early in the morning. The room is quite small. The bed in the room is a bit small for two people and the bed is not very comfortable, so you don't sleep that well.
The toilet and shower are separated from the bedroom by a brick wall. The shower could be improved as very little water comes out of the shower. The water temperature is hard to regulate, so we often had cold showers.
The breakfast in the attached restaurant is okay.
Overall, the service of the hotel is expandable.
We would probably not book the hotel again.

The hotel is right by the pier in San Cristobal and it was a wonderful base for the short visit to the island. The ferry terminal to any of the other islands is also only a five minute wqlk away.
The rooms are really stylishly decorated and furnished in maritime style and have huge windows overlooking the sea. The biggest draw is probably the house’s huge sun terrace. The freshly prepared breakfast is served in the restaurant located underneath the hotel. Would very happily return here to enjoy the wonderful views and the sea lions hanging out just in front of the building.

Beautiful location. Steps from the harbor. Great restaurant included. I could not ask for a more lovely, comfortable place to be in for my visit to San Cristabol, Galapagos. The owner, Jackie, to extra care to provide me help with sun cream as I arrived with a bad burn and my husband was seasick from the rough boat ride from Santa Cruz. Just the right level of sympathetic care to make us feel welcomed.

We stayed here a night after leaving our cruise ship and before flying back to Quito. Excellent hiking (after the tour and the Interpretation Center which was fascinating) and the funniest sea lion colony imaginable! They are everywhere including park benches. The shop owners are very friendly and good restaurants abound. A very walkable town and were we there longer, we would have rented bikes. Worth getting a room with water view. They were remodeling so our breakfast was served down the street at a lovely street cafe with excellent food. Small and personal, nicely decorated white stucco. So much more charming than some of the bigger modern hotels on the boardwalk. There is a patio outside some rooms where I enjoyed a cup of tea and watching boats and tourists walk by. Thee are sea lions everywhere as well as herons and other wildlife. We just missed seeing a lion mom give birth on the beach at night after dinner while we were enjoying an evening stroll

We had a very pleasant one-night stay at Casa Blanca Isabela room on San Cristobal island in Galapagos. There was a great view from the small balcony outside our room overlooking the pier. Our location made it easy to get to restaurants and the various beaches nearby. Taxis were easy to find for visits that weren't just a short walk. We were surprised the bathroom was so big. We hadn't found that to be the case at other Galapagos hotels. We were disappointed in the taste of the free drinking water. But, that was the only issue. We didn't get a chance to try out the restaurant because it was closed the day we were there. Casa Blanca treated us to breakfast at a nearby place (very quick walk) instead. A short taxi ride from Casa Blanca to the airport cost just $1.50 if you hailed your own taxi, $2 if the hotel called one for you. Would definitely recommend for travelers.

Great hotel! Patio area outside our room had tables and lounge chairs with view of dock and ocean. Owner, Jackie, was very helpful and arranged a taxi driver to take us around the highlands, and a driver to take us around Quito on our way home. Hotel also had a fridge and purified water in the lobby. Restaurant downstairs served good breakfasts, and accommodated our dietary needs. Also had really good dinners! Nice quiet location. Very convenient for tours (across from dock). Also close to ATM, restaurants, and grocery store. Clean and safe.

We stayed for 3 nights in a family room. The room was huge, clean and very nicely decorated. Our room did not have view but the horel has an amazing terrace that looks over the harbour and we enjoyed sitting there watching the boats and the sea lions. Jackie welcomed us warmly and helped with everything we needed. The hotel restaurant was closed but we got vouchers for a nearby cafe that served great breakfast. We definitely recommend this hotel!

A hotel that could provide better service... We had a bed that felt like everything was falling down! It sounded like the slightest movement, when asking reception for a fix or solution, they only knew how to say "it must be the support" and that they were going to fix it, and they didn't... It seems to me that for the price they have, everything should be fine. good....
