Highly recommended. A hotel with new and clean facilities. The entire staff is professional and friendly, providing high-quality service. They are always concerned about your well-being, checking if you are enjoying your stay or need anything. You are welcomed with a smile from the moment you arrive at the hotel lobby, where they greet you with a mocktail and hand towels for sanitizing.

The food is of excellent quality and delicious, from the breakfast buffet to lunch and dinner. The drinks are superbly crafted, including cocktails, kids' mocktails, smoothies, and juices.

The rooms are very clean and modern. The beds are extremely comfortable. The bathroom is spectacular. The interior design and architecture are very beautiful.

The location is perfect, and this is the hotel I will definitely choose for my stay whenever I return to San Cristóbal.

Thanks to all the staff for their excellent service, especially Jazmín and Diego. Everyone recommends places to visit and asks how your day has been. The manager is also very kind. A memorable experience.

The Hotel Indigo was a great, comfortable place to stay. The staff was very accommodating and the room was nice. We were on the 3rd floor (303) and had a nice view of Playa de Oro and the sea lions. We were fishing with Ecuador Fly Fishing Tours (A+!) and had early morning starts. The kitchen made us fried egg sandwiches to go with a side fruit bowl. After fishing all day, the pool and bar staff were wonderful! And I cannot say enough about Stephanie and Maria, our massage therapists! Book 90 minutes because 60 minutes is not enough time for them to work their magic. The only negative is the bar uses plastic swivel sticks in drinks. For a place that is very ecologically forward, the plastic drink swivel sticks were not needed. Also, my husband left his wedding ring somewhere in the room and it hasn't been found yet but it hasn't even been 12 hrs since we checked out. I'm still hopeful they'll find the ring!

Excellent stay at the Indigo. Room with balcony was wonderful overlooking the beach and pier. The hotel is new, so bathroom was of very high standard, good shower and fast Wi-Fi. Beds were large and very comfortable, pillows were exceptional, the room was quiet so we had a very good nights sleep. The restaurant and bar food was excellent, so good we did not venture out to local restaurants. Service throughout our stay was exemplary, Carman front of house was very helpful, contacting our tour organisers and checking on hotel pickup. Diego, was very professional and helpful, his team in the restaurant and bar made our stay perfect.
The hotel is in an excellent location for boat trips, and I agree with other reviews the best hotel on San Cristobal

We truly enjoyed our stay at hotel Indigo. It is in a great location near shops and restaurants and you can always hear the song of the many sea lions on the beach and rocks next door. The beds were super comfy and the pool area was amazing after a long warm day. The jacuzzi was lovely in the evenings and the pina coladas are some of the best we’ve ever had! The staff really make this hotel top notch. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. One day I was feeling seasick and they even made me some fresh ginger tea. Muchas gracias for an amazing stay!

Hotel Indigo is not only the best hotel on the island, but they also have the best restaurant on site as well. Rooms are exceptionally comfortable and quiet, despite the large group of sea lions viewable right outside the window.

Joao helped us plan our island excursions and made us feel very much at home. I cannot imagine staying elsewhere on the Galapagos.

This was our last stay in our Galapagos trip, and it certainly ended things on a great note. Every aspect of this hotel is beautiful and flawless. The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and helpful. From the moment we arrived, the manager greeted us and offered complimentary drinks for both kids and adults during check-in. Throughout our stay, it felt like everyone was dedicated to ensuring our experience was nothing short of perfect.

We stayed in the suite, and found it clean, modern and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, and the sofa bed was probably one of the biggest we’ve seen (which the kids appreciated). Our room included two separate bathrooms, which were impeccable. Our balcony was spacious and had great views of the town and docks.

The heated pool is a nice touch, allowing for enjoyable swims later in the evening (pool is open until 10pm). The drinks and food served in the pool area were of excellent quality, with the most extensive cocktail offerings we saw across all the hotels we stayed at during our trip.

Breakfast is complimentary and we all enjoyed the food. Wi-fi was slow, which is not uncommon on the islands. It still seemed somewhat faster on average compared to other places we visited.

The hotel is a bit pricey, but given our experience, welcoming staff and excellent facilities, absolutely worth it.

Dear Indigo Hotel team,

We would like to express our sincerest thanks for the excellent service and attention we received during our stay. Celebrating our 25 years of being married at your hotel was a wonderful experience, and you certainly made it even more special.

Since our arrival, the manager Mauricio was very attentive, and both Diego, Stwar, Joao S, Marcos B, and the other collaborators treated us with a kindness that made us feel pampered and spoiled at all times. We deeply appreciate the detail of the glass of champagne and cold meat offered to celebrate this important occasion for us.

The hotel is really beautiful and complete, with comfortable rooms that allowed us to rest fully. The breakfast buffet is very varied and delicious, and each meal was well prepared and presented. All the service was excellent; it was a spectacular stay in all aspects.

Thank you again for making this trip unforgettable. We hope to have the opportunity to return and enjoy your hospitality again.

Thank you thousand,

Juan Carlos and Mylenna

Fantastic service! Both Daniel and Joao were incredible helpful and sweet. They were attentive and fast. Stunning view, great food and drinks! We needed an early breakfast, and they made sure it was ready prior before breakfast even opened.

I really wanted to love this place. Don’t get me wrong, it’s beautiful. And the staff is beyond friendly In fact, my husband and I booked our trip to theGalapagos based solely on this hotel. It’s nice, but definitely NOT worth the $600-$800 a night they are charging. That’s laughable now that we’ve stayed there. We stayed 4 nights and were expecting concierge service. For that amount of money they should have the means to help guests book excursions. Possibly have some snorkeling gear on hand. Even though the staff was lovely, they were no help. We ended up having to walk around or look online and book things ourself. If we had known they couldn’t help, we would have researched and booked before we left. The breakfast was good, but food by the pool was mediocre at best. Bartenders were all over the place. Sometimes our margaritas had one shot (normal) but one time my husband ordered 2 at once and she just used one shot between the 2 of them and added extra mixer. Sometimes our wine was 3 oz. Sometimes 5-6 oz. Pina colada’s? Sometimes in a wine glass. Sometimes a partially filled champagne flute. No consistency at all and the most expensive drinks we had on the island. Rooms are new and clean but nothing special. Again, lovely hotel but I’d say only worth about $300 a night.
We met a couple at a restaurant near who stayed near our hotel, with same cove view for $100 a night and said it was lovely and their host was able to book things for them. They also said that they heard that Hotel Indigo just had their third “grand opening”!! What?? The staff told us they had their grand opening the night before we got there. A third “grand opening” isn’t a great sign.
My husband and I travel all over the world so I really wanted to be nice, but I’m so upset as an IHG Diamond Elite member that I couldn’t get a response after emailing them and wasting 400,000 points on this hotel. Until they offer services more in line with a hotel that charges $700 a night, stay somewhere else. The value is 100% not there!!! We regret our stay immensely.
