People are very friendly and always keen to help. The ambience very pleasant and food at the restaurant very good. It's a city icon and a easy place to meet. Although no lift (which they told me it's been already planed to build in) I considered a good exercise, which unfortunately was not good for older people. Unfortunately, the internet... More

Hotel Timor is in a great location, central to most attractions. It is most suited to business and there are ample spaces for meetings. Rooms were very comfortable and we appreciated the fresh bottled water and toiletries during our 5 night stay. AC in the room was a little dodgy. Staff are very friendly and went out of their way... Stayed here recently, well that was an experience to say the least!!! Firstly engulfed by cigarette smoke upon entering the foyer. Asked where the business centre was and told it was closed, asked where the pool was, it was closed as well - for three months!!! both these facilities were listed on their website and were major factors in me... The hotel location is good, but it is really not suitable for business travellers. Firstly, no desk in my room at which to work. Secondly, absolutely the worst internet I have had in a hotel over the last 10 years (and I have stayed in almost 300 in that time). OK, the restaurant food is reasonably good and the staff... More

We had the privilege of visiting Timor in late May-early June and enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Hotel Timor. My friend ordered the steak and I had the fried rice. We didn't partake of the ongoing buffet but the other patrons that did seemed to like the selection and amounts. They also had a varied and robust dessert bar.... More

Hotel is a bit old but good location for business or official travel. Restaurant food was good for dinner but breakfast did not have a great selection. Lobby cafe was nice with good choice of snacks and coffee

I had the privilege to visit Timor Leste with my two sons in August. We were lucky enough to stay at the Hotel Timor. From the moment we arrived from Bali to the airport, we were taken care of with incredible hospitality and kindness. The staff there is amazing. They go beyond the call of duty to care for you... Every time visiting Dili, I love to dine on Hotel Timor specially on Sunday. They have Portuguese Buffet call Cozido. Mostly the food steamed & boiled. Variety food are beef, pork, chicken, fish and many of vegetable. Really yummy & healthy. Well presented with good service & Price reasonable.

My wife and I visited Dili, the capital city of Timor Leste this month. Upon advice of our local friend, we stayed at Timor Hotel, considered by locals to be the best hotel available in town. We decided to follow the suggestion to stay at this hotel, surely with high hopes. We decided to book the best room of the... More

This is a pretty nice and simple hotel. It is apparently one of the nice hotels in Dili. The service is pretty bad but I would agree it is above average for Timor standards. The hotel is 3 stories and doesn't have a lift nor concierge service so be prepared to carry your luggage up at least one flight of... More
