walls are poorly insulated and you can hear the next room people talking at normal level. had to call security twice to calm the people next door partying at midnight. room service was absent, spent three nights without any room service, had to call house keeping to get few towels for the bath.
I booked my room months in advance for a conference and received an email early morning on my arrival date to check in online. Which I did. It said the earliest check in time was 2:00. No problem. Stood on the long (about 30 people ahead of me) precheck in kiosk line to find my room was not ready at 2:30 and that I would receive an email when room is ready. 6pm still no email, so I got back on the long line (about 20 people now). The extremely rude clerk said not only is my room still not ready, but the tower I booked (near the conference) was sold out. She wouldnt do anything for me, but advised to come back later. I asked to speak with a manager. Rude girl came back to now say she would check me into a room on the other side of the hotel. Again I asked for a manager. Finally, the manager gave me the room in the newly renovated Waterfront tower that I booked. The room was filty. As soon as I walked in, saw finger prints on the mirror, cheerios on the floor and plenty of debris on the carpet. This room was clearly not vacuumed in a while. What is the point of asking guests to precheck in? At 8pm after I'm already checked in, finally received the email that my room was ready. Thank you for nothing. Harrahs is a dump and the employees dont care. I only stay due to conferences held here. Do not make a choice to stay in this dark dirty, dingy property. Also around 1pm on a Thursday, no place opened for lunch except a burger only deli. No thank you.…
My room was well worn out along the edges of furniture, chairs, etc., and the room had very low ceilings. The sheets had permanent black marker stains on them. At no point during check out, or later, has Harrah's asked for guest feedback - that should tell you something about the level of concern they have for guest satisfaction.
I was here for a business conference and not for the casino. The casino is a bit dated, especially the arrival experience at Self park. The new waterfront hotel tower is great. Nice large rooms with beautiful views, and comfortable beds. Went to the spa, and the mini massage was very worthwhile as you get a 30 minute massage, and access to the pool, which they would otherwise charge you for. Pool area is kitschy, but nice in the winter as a sunny oasis. I would stay again since the waterfront tower is so nice with her easy access to the conference area. Food at the conference was good too!
Here for a conference and had booked my room over a month ago. Tried to check in 3 separate times through the kiosk. After 4 pm and my 3rd attempt at the kiosk, I tried to get help from an employee who directed to one of the 3 lines that were formed in the lobby. After waiting on line to use the kiosk, I then waited about 15-20 minutes in the 2nd line. When I was finally at the desk, the employee refused to help me because he said I was in the wrong line (despite the fact that one of his employees had sent me to it.) I was instructed to get on another line. After 30 minutes on that one, I was finally helped, although it was not the room I had reserved and paid for already. There were maybe 30 or so people on line and they had 2 people checking them in. 1. Don't direct people to the kiosks if they won't work for people. 2. Have more people working when you know a large conference with hundreds of people are checking in. 3. Train your staff to help all of their customers--sending people away from a desk and having dozens of people waiting in your lobby for hours is not a good look for your hotel. The room was nice and very clean. The conference space and the food we had was great. Do better with your front staff and their level of hospitality.…
Stayed in the Atrium Tower Suite. Construction noise starting in the early morning maybe 7:30 AM, sounds like drilling, on and off for the entire morning. Double check your order at Starbucks, they were very busy, gave me the wrong sandwich.
The worst experience I’ve received from Harrah’s. No from Caesar’s. Everything was informed last minute down to the valet times. I booked a bay view room for the amenities. I drive 4 hours to get to this resort (after doing a self early check in) and was advised to go to the kiosk to complete check it. Now I informed of my arrival in advance but the kiosk told me that my room was not ready and I would receive a email once completed. Something told me to go to the front desk which I’m glad I did because the bay view tower is complete unavailable. So I got switched to a new room (by far an upgrade from the ‘upgraded’ bayview rooms) I had a maintenance situation which the maintenance manager came to backup the technician which I ASKED about the bayview tower and was informed from the maintenance manager that the tower wasn’t under complete maintenance and that rooms are indeed available. Now to my shock that’s ridiculous. I go to valet to get my car ,which they do not take from the hold anymore and I had to pay in person. I did so and was casually reminded that their valet closed at 2pm. Lucky for me I got out of my meeting early and was grabbing lunch because my intention was t to get my car before 2. Meanwhile no one at valet informed me of this matter when I valet my car the day before. Best service came from bell men sadly. Very friendly and prompt. …
Attended Northeast regional pest control conference. The meeting facility, casino and room assignment were satisfactory. The check-in process was not. The check-in kiosks were not working when we attempted to check in, despite pre-registering and having a code to scan. No staff were in the area to assist. Were not told the hotel no longer provides housekeeping services. After three day stay our room was rather disheveled. Wasn't told they no longer service the hotel rooms. Our stay was supposed to include complimentary parking. Our key card did not work on trying to exit the garage. Pressing the help button did not bring assistance, so after getting stuck at the exit it cost $10 to back up and depart at another exit lane. Guests should be told upfront about the housekeeping services and the garage should be attended whenever it's in use.…
The room was nice - was in the Laguna 15th floor and servigeousce was good - I am a senior citizen and cannot carry things so I need to park valet and have my bags taken to my room - when I went to leave and get my car they charged me $40 A DAY - THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS and because of this I doubt if I will come back as outher casinos charge $10 per visit
The hotel is very expensive. Restaurants close early and are way overpriced. A simple burger and fries are $30. And the hotel services are terrible. I stayed 6 days and they did not clean my room once. We had a per diem put on the room for amenities thru the company that booked the stay and everyday it was an argument to make sure the money on the room worked instead of getting billed. Terrible terrible service.
