It's not a 5 star hotel but the room was clean and comfortable. (And I'm very picky!) We had both a fridge and microwave in our room. The bed was comfortable, however they definitely need better pillows. Thank goodness I travel with my own.. We had our toilet clog twice during a stay but the staff addressed and fixed within minutes. They offered a change of rooms but we declined. It was no big deal. With the location you have to take the good with the bad. The good DEFINITELY out way thre bad. This hotel isn't in the best neighborhood, so at times there were some "questionable" looking people hanging outside. But it's a 7 mintue walk to the boardwalk, the beach and walking distance to several Major casinos including The Hard Rock Cafe. The hotel is also attached to a cafe that has amazing food and service for a very reasonable price. I didn't have to move my vehicle the entire weekend. Parking is free as well by the way. Which is unheard of at the other hotels! Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

For the price you’re not getting a 5 star hotel but it’s a clean and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant, accommodating and made us feel safe. On site parking was a plus and having the Jitney stop right outside was a great convenience. Perry’s restaurant is easy to get to from the hotel lobby but don’t! It’s not worth it.

Honestly, the hotel was ok except for the smelly hallways. Both the attached restaurant and the pizza place next door were good food options and not pricey. Room was reasonable for the price and wifi was solid. Check-in and out were really easy. Street noise was noticeable, but didn't keep us up.

The bad and the reason I won't stay there again. We were walking back from the Boardwalk in broad daylight and were accosted/assaulted by a crazy homeless guy that wouldn't leave us alone. This happened just outside the door of the hotel and he followed us into the hotel. Short version, he ended up grabbing my daughters phone out of her hand and tried to run away. Luckily, he was stopped by the staff member on duty at the counter and we got the phone back. We called 911. So, we are appreciative of the help by the staff member, but won't ever stay there again as this was traumatizing for all of us.

Came for a weekend getaway with my friend , my daughter & god daughter, when we checked in the front desk asked if we wanted a non- smoking room we said yes. When we got off at our floor the smell of weed hit us dead in the face in the hallway. They gave a dead end room , beds are uncomfortable, the area seems to have a bunch drug addicts around there or shelters, we was walking to the store & turned back around with the kids to head back to the hotel because of the area. Please be careful & be safe if you have kids , we will not be staying here ever again. Howard Johnson update your rooms & Wifi because they both sucks. Non-smoking should me non-smoking not a place that smells like weed all over omg

I wasn't expecting much from this hotel when I saw the location and the price... but I ended up being shocked at how nice it was. I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I walked into the lobby. It looked freshly decorated in a bright art-deco motif that was very appealing.

The front desk agent was friendly and attentive, even pointing out that he saw me arrive while he was monitoring the surveillance cameras in the parking area. I requested a different room type from my reservation and the agent happily accommodated me. I asked if I could stay parked in their lot for a few hours after checkout and they told me that it was no problem.

I was even more surprised when I got to my room. The room is newly renovated and looks great. It was clean, and it smelled fresh. The room has a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and dining table.

Overall, an outstanding value for a low price, and the friendly staff made it all the better. I definitely will stay here again when I visit Atlantic City, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place not in one of the casinos.

Stayed here due to going to a concert on 1/19/20. Upon checking in, the smell of marijuana was overwhelming. Upon getting to our floor, it also smelled like marijuana as well as our room. We found trash behind the nightstand as well. Place was noisy as well. As a result of the marijuana smell, we had to leave do to my girlfriend getting sick. We told the person working the desk this and he didn't appear to care or offer a refund. If this property is associated with Wyndham, they want to take their name off it.

The internet wasn’t working at all.
The hotel was filthy and needs to focus on cleaning and washing the walls. The service was great just need a larger internet service provider as well as shutting down for a day or two for cleaning

I'm shock that Wyndham has there name on this terrible hotel. There is disgusting trash between the buildings, staff is not helpful and the rooms are from the 70's. I would stay away from this hotel if you value your family. People coming up to you in the parking lot asking for money, and I have seen better room's on Route 9 in AC that were better then this place and half the cost.

I strongly recommend that you stay at any other property except this one. This is by far the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at in my over 25 years of traveling professionally. The very few dollars that you might save by staying at this property is not worth it at all. You are definitely better off spending a few more dollars to stay at a much nicer property.

My brother and I took our disabled Mom for a short Thanksgiving trip to Atlantic City. Thomas at the front desk was extremely accommodating and always available to help. The rooms we had were clean and spacious. Ample towels, toiletries, hair dryer, etc. Maid service was readily available and did an excellent job. Perry's Cafe, the attached restaurant, served a wonderful breakfast and had a very good menu. Casinos are within walking distance and the hotel is very close to the boardwalk. All in all we had no complaints. Hope to return again in the future.

I put it into Gmaps and it's 3/10 of a mile. It y'all walk it, there is Pic~A~Lilli & Irish Pub [St James Pl] along the way. Both have cheap good eats & cheap liquor. And y'all could packup the auto & drive, unload at the ramp & 1 person returns it to the HoJos and walks back ←we do this drive&unload a lot, esp w/MIL or kids. And at that beach is a 99¢ store in Central Pier that sells cold bottled water for 99¢ and/or cold canned sodas 2/99¢. They also had 30SPF sunscreen Sunday, which I expect may sellout by this Sunday
