Was coming in for a concert and needed a place to stay on a Saturday night. Mostly everything in the area (non-casino) was already sold out and the few places that had rooms available in nearby Pleasantville or Absecon all had current very negative reviews so I avoided them.

After my research, I found the Days Inn – Boardwalk and selected a remaining room. It was your typical inner city Days Inn setup, except there was no free Breakfast. Not the end of the world though I thought as the property was connected to a Country Kitchen Restaurant, however upon arrival learned that restaurant was closed.

The place was very old, yet clean so had no complaints with that. Found out they are short staffed with only 4 people working there and only open Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights which did not affect my stay.

The price was rather high ($400+ including tax) for a normal side view room, but with everything else in the area sold out this was fully understood.

Checkout was super quick and our car was conveniently parked in their connecting lot so that made things easy.

If you are looking for a non-casino place to stay directly on the Boardwalk and close to everything (the Tropicana is immediately next to it) I would definitely recommend this bare bones hotel to others.

Stayed here for a night to go out for a friends birthday and the overall experience was a good one. Room was clean and close to boardwalk and casinos. Only issue was neighbors were loud pretty late but beds were comfortable so it wasn’t a big issue. Staff at front desk were friendly and courteous and breakfast was delicious even though it wasn’t free I would recommend.

Staff was very nice parking was great. The room had paper thin walls. The rooms have the doors that go into the other rooms and in the middle of the night you could hear people trying to get into our room. The AC or heater did not work it just blew air.

Always stay when coming to AC and never had any complaints. The hotel is situated perfectly on the boardwalk right in the middle of the casino strip so it is perfect for those who don’t have comp points or don’t want to pay higher prices at one of the resorts. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean and cozy. The beds are very comfortable. We usually stay in the ocean front balcony rooms and I always make a point to get up to watch the sun rise over the ocean. It’s breathtaking. You truly feel like you could be at one of the fancier more expensive resorts.

The worst, don’t let Days Inn by Wyndham fool you. Picked this location for a beach getaway and to be right by the beach. The room described as scenic beach view is the view of a dilapidated roof of the building next door, and a parking lot. You see a tiny portion of the beach.
The room is from the 1980’s and the place needs a complete renovation. The walls are thin so you hear everything in the adjoining rooms. No smoking means people smoke weed on the balcony to their room.
Our weekend getaway turned into a nightmare and we got out of there. Extremely disappointed in this place. Based on the pictures you can see management doesn’t care. This is not a hotel this is a run down motel.

The place is run down. The front desk did not want to help in the least bit. What I thought would be a reasonable cost for a semi decent room ended costing a lot more ($$$parking, cot, no breakfast) and really a loud smelly dive.

Avoid this hole at all costs! Just pay the extra money for a casino hotel! Overwhelming pot smoke smell throughout the building. The rooms are old and dingy. We had hair and cleaning gloves in the bathroom upon arrival. Walls are thin and guests are loud all night. We were offered a different room that reaked of mold and mildew. Asked for a refund to leave within 10 minutes of arriving and they refused and told my boyfriend “not my problem” when he addressed the cleanliness, noise and smell issue. It’s outdated, dingy and just a hole. Heed my advice and choose a different hotel!

My wife and I loved the Days Inn. We stayed in a 5th floor oceanfront room with a balcony that actually hangs over the boardwalk. The room, lobby, hallways and elevators were all clean and well maintained. The view of the ocean was excellent and we were there on Saturday night when they hold the fireworks display, so we had a front row seat to the show. The folks who work there were friendly and helpful. Parking was a little tight, but it was covered and safe.
Highly recommended!

This hotel was a nightmare. They only had one functional elevator, which was tiny and cramped. They falsely advertised free breakfast, but all they offered was bad coffee. They also lied about free parking—it’s actually $20 a day. Every floor reeked of weed and was decorated like the 70s. The entire place was gross, with ancient, insecure doors and unsecured entrances between rooms. The comforter shown in the photos wasn’t even a comforter. The AC barely worked, and the photos lied about everything. The alley had extremely shady activity, and the glass was filthy. Not worth the price at all. The shower had mildew too. Avoid this place at all costs. The staff is unhelpful and you can't get a refund without contacting corporate.

First took two hours for us to get the room inspected to check in, then water pressure was low, elevator was ruined had to use the stairs to the 14 floor. Very sad that even when was a deluxe suite I couldn't enjoy my vacation 100% when I tried trough hopper to get help, they said no compensation for my troubles. On top they try to sell you time shares during your stay.

This hotel is directly next to the Topicana. When looking at the ocean, the Tropicana is to the left. I'm unsure if there is another one in the opposite direction.
