My friend and I visited Atlantic City last weekend of June and we stay in here. Location is unbeatable, only 5 minutes walking distance from the boardwalk, plenty places to eat off the boardwalk, decent size parking in front of the motel. Room was decent size with king size bed, and what is most important clean. It seems run down a bit and there was weird smell lingering in the room.
Very friendly staff. Great location. Price is unbeatable. Free coffee. Steps away from beach and casino. Oh and the new look is great. Large walking showers. They upgraded the property and kept prices the same . You can't beat that.
Okay here I am reading many of the reviews. For me the Rodeway Inn on NC Ave was just fine. I've stayed at many of the Motels in AC and now thinking this Rodeway Inn may be my number one choice when in that area. It's not a 5 star place so don't expect it.
The location was at the end of Pacific Avenue where there was an abandoned Hotel, seedy people and looked very very unsafe. The room had stained lamp shades, dresser with missing knobs and a hole in the wall near the beds on the floor that rodents could enter. The area where they said you'd be having a breakfast was not a place where I would eat anything. I called my daughter to re-book me in another hotel. I deserve my money back because booking.com was misleading regarding this place.
The good thing about this motel is the location. That is it. The staff is rude. I booked a room and when I got there, they told me they were putting me in a different sort of room because they had rented out the room I reserved. I didn't receive my discount for being a Choice Hotels Member. The room itself was disgusting. Moldy and instead of getting a counter to fit the bathroom, they just took a sawsall and hacked the corner off the bathroom counter so the door would open and shut. The lights in the bathroom kept going off and on and at one point I was trapped in the shower while I waited for the lights to come back on. At least I got to listen to the people next to me scream at each other for entertainment. I would sleep under the boardwalk before I stayed another night in this establishment.…
We booked this room through Booking.com because it was inexpensive for a Friday into Saturday night stay. This small motel is a half block back from the boardwalk. And directly across the street from Resorts. If you stay on the second floor facing the parking lot, you can see the ocean. There are no elevators at this property and it has exterior entrances. It is a little outdated if you care about that sort of thing. Our room was clean. The heater worked. We couldn't connect to the Wifi; it wasn't worth complaining about. My daughter connected to the Resorts free Wifi. The walls are thin and we could others talking in their room. One of the things I didn't like was the connecting door in our room didn't seem to shut properly. The best thing about this hotel is location, it really is close to everything. And since parking is included, you don't have to worry about driving around and paying for parking. The front desk guy was very nice. He said good morning to me the following morning. If you are on a budget and want to be close to the beach and boardwalk, then you might find this place acceptable.…
Centrally located just a block off the boardwalk and providing free parking, the Roadway Inn is a good alternative to the Ressort Hotels that tempt you with low Prices and stiff parking fees. (and anoy you with long waiting lines at check in). A warm welcome by the very friendly host, and the room was sparkling clean and nicer than expected (thanks to the great maid!!) The breakfast extremely basic (Coffee and supermarket Muffins). But with tons of Food sources all arround the place, that will do for a night or two
This hotel is a good value - it is just a short walk to the boardwalk and beach, the prices are reasonable, and the agent Mr Solomon is always very helpful and pleasant. We have stayed at this hotel every year for the past 15 years, and will continue to do so. It is so nice to be able to easily walk to the ocean, come back and enjoy the terrific hot shower and comfortable bed!
we were nicely surprised at how conveniently close this hotel was to the steel pier and top casinos. Parking was included and the staff was very nice. They kept an eye on our car all night and gave us tips where to eat, etc. Also recomended the best casinos to win at!
The front Desk Agent Mr Solomon is very accommodating to our welcome in this particular Choice Hotel Chain. Their location is very practical, nearly one block the jitney public transport. Also besides the Resort Casino. Price is tolerable for the quality of the stay.
