Hotel was really nice with a good location. The room was a little small and a bit dark but this didn't matter. Breakfast was great with coffee and juice, fruit and eggs! There was a little reading area on the ground floor with a computer which was nice. The area on the first floor for breakfast was lovely Thanks for...

If you're looking for a good middle class hotel in Santa Marta, the Hotel San Miguel Imperial is your best choice. Rooms are clean and pleasant, breakfast is great and the service is good. At a good walking distance of the beach and the old centre of the city

It was great until they charged us 68.000 for some laundry when checking out. Thats over €20,-, crazy!! Why didnt they tell us they charge these prices for some socks, underwear and some old shirts? What more do they do when they do this kind of s***!

Great location and really nice staff, which gladly helped with a variety of stuff during our stay. Breakfast is good too and the rooms are clean and neat. We had four nights in this place separated by a trek to The Lost City, and they offered to store our big bags during our trip.

The room was great, big and confortable with a great air conditioning. A good breakfast. The staff was very atencious and helpfull, I had a knee problem there, so they gave me ice cubs everyday to put on it.

It was by far not the cheapest hotel in the area, but it is the area itself. The room was air conditioned but lacked a table and chair, end tables and lamps, had to sit on bed to watch the TV. It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach, and by taxi $3 to any of the other...

Couldn't fault my stay at San Miguel Imperial. We arrived late but they were ready to check us in. Complimentary breakfast was welcome. Wi-Fi fast. And they allowed us to store our luggage free of charge while we completed the Lost City hike. Well recommended quick base in Santa Marta.

Hotel is well placed for main pedestrian street with bars and restaurants. Other highlights include a roof terrace, decent wifi connection and shower was big enough for a European. Helpful and friendly staff with some English. Can get day tours to Tayrona and Minca from front desk. Main downside was noise from slamming doors and marble corridors. Breakfast was always...

The first time I stayed at this hotel was in 2013... After a year I went back and this year I managed to come back to Santa Marta and chose again San Miguel Imperial. The hotel is in a very central location within walking distance to main commercial areas, shopping centers and government institutions. Good price, good breakfast and good...
