When we first checked in I was very impressed with the big room, lovely views from the balcony and beautiful outdoor bathroom, although the road is close and you do hear the traffic. On day 3 I had an unpleasant surprise when going to the bathroom: there was a huge rat in the sink! I went to speak to the...

It was a nice experience to stay in the cabins of Ecohostal Yuluka. Location is good, only 5 mins from main entrance to Tayrona National Park. It is not fancy but you are well received by the owners. Some comments: try to get cabins higher up as the lower ones are close to the road and at night the traffic...

We stayed at Yuluka for two nights at either end of our four day stay at Tayrona National Park. The hostal has a beautiful tropical setting with great rooms built into the natural environment. Everyone was really friendly and it made for a great stay. Highly highly recommended after that hike!

A really nicely built resort with pretty, quite luxurios and clean cabanas... BUT: - so close to the street that it is really loud at night (and we've had the cabaña that was the farthest away from the road) - the food was really disappointimg: fish, mixed veggies and even patacón came from the deep freezer, and were topped with...

A beautiful situated eco-hotel located just a 5 min car ride or 15 min walk away from one of Tayrona's entrances. The owner Wilmar is the friendliest hostel owner you will ever meet and will sort you out with whatever you need. It helps if you speak some Spanish, but that counts everywhere in Colombia. We went tubing (saw monkeys...

We stayed two nights at Ecohostal Yuluka as a gateway to Tayrona, Santa Marta & Sierra Nevada del Santa Marta. The grounds were gorgeous, as individual cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and a pool. The dining area has hammocks which look out into the distant hills. Meals were a particular highlight, as the cooks prepare delicious local dishes and...

I stayed 2 nights at Yuluka with my wife and 3 kids. It was such a great place. It is totally relaxing. It is a very special place and you can feel that they are proud of their place. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The drive to the entrance of Tairona was included and Nellys gave us great tips....

I really enjoyed my stay last november there. The staff is really nice, there's a wonderful view of the forest and the mountains, and some hamac to lay in front of the landscapes... It is really close to Taganga and the Parque Tayrona, I think this might be a good basis to start your trip in one of these two...

I wish I could spend two weeks at this place. It was spotless, very pretty, very quiet (okay, the road is a little noisy, but won't ruin your time there), very scenic, the folks who own it are incredibly nice, the cabins are fantastic (with all these natural stones and materials incorporated in), the lack of internet (ok, you can...

Yuluka is really a great place to stay, We stayed only one night but everything was prefect. The rooms are huge ( with a massive 2x2m matress!!) and everything is made of rocks. The water comes by the river, and all around you is so calm and full of nature - the atmosphere is really amazing. Nice pool and really...
