Be prepared, as they do not accept credit cards and there is no hot water in this guesthouse. It is not a hotel or a posada, it is a guesthouse and the owner, Mr. Ata, is a very nice guy and very helpful. It is just beside Deep Blue hotel, best spot on the island, but everything looks dirty, toilets...

Relax! Best place to stay on this planet, (possibly in this Galaxy). Perfect host and hostess. Easy living. Smiles and laughs. Beautiful, simple rooms. Natural air conditioning from prevailing wind. Waking to sunrise over the sea. Hammock sleeps in the afternoon. A few steps to beautiful clear sea. Beautiful reef 10 minutes swim away. Beautiful fish. World beating reef snorkeling...

A fantastic view, a great location, a small private beach for the guests, an individual terrace and furthermore very friendly host! Very simple but nice and clean. And very decent prices (especially vs. Boutique Hotel nearby) Hope to be back soon!

CocoBay is right on the water on the east side of Providencia; it's literally across the street from the new boutique hotel Deep Blue and Betito's place. Good place to stay for a good value of money. The diving tour with betito was really good. But take care for the prices he asks. There are estimated prices on the island...

CocoBay is right on the water on the east side of Providencia; it's literally across the street from the new boutique hotel Deep Blue and Betito's place, where we also stayed but thought was inferior to CocoBay in view, value for money and cleanliness (see review). CocoBay boasts gorgeous views of Crab Caye and the bay of aquamarine blue water....

We reserved this hotel in November 2012 for December 26-30 2012. We were assured a room in front of the sea in the second floor and we were required to wire half of the price to the account of Andrew Howard (son of Atanasio Howard, owner of the hotel). When we got there, our room had been assigned to someone...

We had rented 2 apartments/rooms from Katya at Posada cocobay. After spending 10 days on the island, we saw many other accomadations and were very happy with our choice. Cocobay had a water front view and access, it's not too far from the center of town and its was clean and quite. I honestly cannot think of a better choice...

Stayed here with my husband and 9 & 12 yr old.....not recently( 3 yrs ago ) but my info would still be helpful I believe. As far as location to snorkeling, it can't be beat...directly off your doorstep! The view, worth a million $$. Straight out to Crab Key, amazing. Picture Perfect. We had the top unit on the right....
