I was a little nervous going in as I had read the negative reviews on here, as well as the positive. I just returned from my two night stay at the Oceanic Inn and I don't have a negative thing to say about it. The room was clean, had two queen sized beds, decent sized bathroom, microwave, nice sized fridge,...

We stayed overnight one night to see a concert. Worked for our purposes. Beds were too firm for me so I probably wouldn't do a longer stay. Pros: Location! A block to the beach and only a few blocks away from The Wonder Bar and The Stone Pony. There's a pool, but we went in early May so it wasn't...

I was a little apprehensive about staying here after reading some of the negative reviews. However, since it was 1 block from the boardwalk, and I can park there for free. Asbury Park charges 2 dollars per hour to park at the beach. So I decided that since it was October, there should be no problem getting a room anywhere...

My girlfriend and I decided to stay at the Oceanic for a Saturday night after attending a concert at the Stone Pony. We have stayed at the Berkeley several times but wanted only one night and something affordable. The Oceanic is at a perfect location for walking to beach, bars & restaurants. In addition to a cheap nightly rate, they...

Wow. I would like to say "you haven't really lived until you've stayed at this place," but its more like "congratulations on getting out alive!" This is by far the cheapest place to stay in Asbury Park. It is right next to the Berkley Hotel, which charges about $200 a night and does not have free parking or wifi. The...

Needs some major help!! Very outdated. Pool ?? ( don't even ask!) bullet proof window at check in. Mold everywhere. Don't stay here!! Sleep in your car if you have to!! What the hell is growing behind the fence in those pots?? OMG!! 😖😱

This hotel is GREAT! Yes an older hotel, but back then they built things to last so why mess with it? Everything was clean, towels were fluffy and the beds were comfy. There was a digital TV w/cable, a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Across the street from the ocean and boardwalk! Close to lots of things. We were on...

This is a functional "efficiency" kind of an accommodation: bed, linens, table, refrigerator, "hot plate" stove, and basic cable. It's convenient to the beach; but definitely not a place to stay on a rainy day.

It's all about location, location, location. The motel looks rundown and it hasn't been renovated probably in years but is clean and just a place to lay your head after a day at the beach. You can park your car for free and walk to the beach. I do recommended if you're looking for something decent close to the beach.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a Friday and Saturday during high season. Paid about $85/night, which is a STEAL for the Jersey shore in the summer (especially when all the other hotels in Asbury start around $150/night)! The hotel is a block from the beach and boards (unfortunately, there is a tag fee to get on the beach). We...
