My friend had been staying here for work for many days. I stayed here 8 days, and it was great. The beds were very hard but they brought me extra pillows which solved the problem right away. The maid service was amazing and the room was crisp and clean every morning. My only complaint was with myself and that I...

Very clean and professional establishment. There was a spacious shower with hot water and fresh towels. The staff is professional, friendly, and attentive to my requests no matter what time I called. I had a great time, and I am already planning my next visit.

My fiancé and I stayed recently at Casa Portico while in Medellin. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the guests were polite and most importantly, the rooms were very clean. The downside was that there was a LOT of noise coming from the street. El Poblano is a very active area full of restaurants and bars, so some noise...

Hotel Casa Portico is somewhere in between a hostel and a hotel with a great location in El Poblada, the main tourist area of Medellin. It is more comfortable than a hostel with clean private rooms that have private baths, but simpler or more basic than what you would expect from a hotel. There is a fridge in the room,...

This was my second visit to Medellín in about a year so I was familiar with the area I wanted to stay in. And that was, of course, in El Poblado, as near to Parque Lleras I could get without being in the park. I looked into the hotel I had stayed the last time, but it was booked. That...

This hotel is in the best area of Medellin, El Poblado. The small hotel is one of the few hotels in Medellin with single occupancy rates. It is safe, clean, the room was nice and the bed comfortable. Staff is very helpful and friendly but you should have at least basic Spanish knowledge. They don't serve breakfast at the hotel,...

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. I booked a room for one nights layover in Medellin. My girlfriend who is Colombian was flying in on a much later flight and I went to the airport to pick her up. When we returned to the hotel at 1 am I was met by a rude...

Even with my very limited Spanish and a staff that spoke very little English ,this was a great place to stay. Clean ,inexpensive ,secure and in a great area. The room although small had cable a great bathroom a patio and a staff that was beyond helpful, everything you would want from a large hotel but with a great neighborhood experience.
