This was a great stay, the hotel and staff itself are all top notch. The pictures don't even do it justice, this place is very clean and modern. The vibe is relaxed and laid back, you get to know the staff pretty well. There's a nice little rooftop with an amazing view. You can eat, drink and listen to music...

Most hotels and restaurants in Medellin seem to be in the El Poblado area. The 61 Prado Guesthouse is about a 10minute metro ride away in an area near the university hospital and botanical gardens, and only a 5min walk from "el centro". I do not feel this location is a problem. In fact, it seems as a guest you...

While staying in Medellin, my wife and I wanted to move out of the Poblano area and see a different side of Medellin. We also wanted convenience to attractions, safe accommodations, and a relaxed atmosphere. Prado 61 was just that. The staff that we engaged with were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were very clean and proper, and the...

Pros: The staff are very friendly, the room is clean, the breakfasts are good and there's a lovely terrace. The bonus is also the restaurant that is open 24 hours and it's close to a metro. Cons: The main light in our room wasn't working, the room was a bit stuffy/smelly as there did not appear to be much ventilation...

Beautiful restored casa. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Tony, Roberto and Ruby run a cozy, friendly restaurant with delicious food. Nice quiet place. Good location to the center and metro. Alternative to Gringolandia in El Poblado. Would go back.

Got to 61 Prado with a lot of scheptisism and low tollerence. Left with the highest respect and appreciation for what they are and do. Booked a double room, but they upgraded to a suit free of charge. Absurdly big, confortable bed, clean rooms and bathroom, hot water, great rooftop view. The only place that offered 1/2 day laundry service....

When you first get there you kind of doubt about the neighborhood, but once you are in, you just feel in the right place to be. Indoors is somewhere else but downtown: chill and quiet. The staff is great but nobody except the owner speaks English. The kind of people that stays here is one of the best things, let's...

A very nice hotel, with friendly staff and a friendly atmosphere in the place generally. The rooms were very nice and comfy, with hot powerful showers and a big TV. The onsite restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. I assume that the price is so low because of the location. But it is ideal for visiting the many interesting...

What a wonderful little retreat from the bustling city! You can walk from here to Centro, but the more upscale and happening Llares Park and Poblado are a cab/metro ride away. Cabs are inexpensive, and the metro is clean, safe and very busy! Great rates, 24 hour restaurant/bar, and lots of tables to sit and read.
