Great location, really good quality mattresses, reasonably clean, beautiful common area with restaurant, bar, kitchen, lot of space to chill out and meet other travelers, pool, terrace with hammocks, rooftop terrace with chairs and a small but pleasant swimming pool. Very kind staff. Close to everything but the metro (some 20 minutes walking). Great place, 100% recommended!

Casa Kiwi is a good hostel for youngsters who are looking for nice atmosphere and descent dorms with reasonable pricing.. During the week its pretty quiet, but when the weekend starts (from thursday to saturday) the place is kicking off, just the same as nightlife in Medellin

Good location in a friendly and safe neighbourhood. Staff service was good but not the best I had on my trip. Hostel was busy and had loads of people to meet and make friends with especially for me traveling by myself.

Very nice accomodation in Medellín! Great neighborhood with plenty of facilities around. The hostel has excellent rooms, decoration, structure and service. There's a cool terrace with a swimming pool to get some fresh air and have a smoke. Downstairs, it is possible to find a pool table and a great TV room to relax. It is definitely a place to...

A nice hostel that was clean. Comfortable beds and very helpful staff. It was really close to a lot of good resturants and pubs. Good social areas and easy to mer new people. A nice pool table and a big kitchen! Happy with the hostel and would recommend it.

Casa Kiwi seemed like an alright hostel. The dorms were clean and prices fair. Even the wifi that had been criticised in previous reviews was working fine. However, on my second night staying at the hostel I made a complaint about the noise as it was 2.30am and music from the bar was still blaring. My complaint was met with...

I stayed at Casa Kiwi for 4 or 5 nights a few weeks ago. It was a very comfortable private room with my own bathroom for 60,000 peso's. It was nice to treat my self to some luxury and i got that there. I read the other reviews , and i can see how this place MAY be loud on...

In 2014, how a leading hostel in a big city like Medellin could have anything other than proper working wifi is beyond me. Casa Kiwi is a pretty good hostel in all other respects, but its wifi is nothing short of rubbish. It is not available in the rooms, and works less than 50% of the time on the ground...

I stayed at this hostel back in March. It had a pretty good over all vibe, but had some house keeping issues. Pro's - The staff were helpful, the balcony and hammock areas were great for relaxing and socialising and the upstairs deck was great for catching a bit of sun. It is well located and you can find good...
