Really enjoyed our stay with Black Sheep Hostel. First an foremost, it's a great place to stay. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is nice and the wifi is great. We enjoyed being able to cook in the large kitchen, but be careful. Even with the many warnings, people will probably steal some of your food. Also, location is great....

I understand why this place gets such good reviews. The staff are excellent - they go above and beyond what would be expected of hostel staff, and they really seem to enjoy their jobs. The rooms are spacious and clean. Showers are hot and with good pressure. Kitchen is clean and well stocked. Generally there is a lovely friendly feel...

Although the rooms are pretty basic and there is a lack of plug sockets, the overall vibe in this hostel is hard to beat. The communal areas are great and the the kitchen is big. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. The location is good as it's near the bars and restaurants in el poblado and...

Honestly this was a bit of a let down, a friend recommended this to us. The rooms are at least spacious, however, they are sooo basic. Bathrooms and bunk beds all rundown, staff were friendly but not forthcoming with help like I've experienced in many other hostels. Good location, felt safe and close to walk into Medellin for drinks and...

Hostel is in really good condition. I feel harsh giving 4 stars. Rooms are decent size, shower is almost too powerful like a burst pipe. Can't complain after what I have had. Staff are so friendly and always helpful. Good chill out Areas. Got cable tv which was good for the sport and decent hammocks on the roof. 10 min...

What a place! Everyone in this place is lovely, from the cleaning team to the owner. The location is phenomenal and the staff have great knowledge on Medellin. Enormous super market 5 mins away. Subway station is less then 10 mins walk. Brilliant breakfast/ Brunch and lunch options all a stones throw away. Always clean and tidy with hot pressure...

I firmly believe this is the best place to stay in Medellin and I would have had a sour trip if I had stayed anywhere else. A friend recommended I stay here and at first I thought he was nuts. A hostel in South America?! He was right and I'm so glad I listened. I emailed the hostel the day...

The staff was great! Rooms were okay -- pretty standard. They need more outlets in the room to charge devices and lockers would be a nice touch. The location is good - not far from the metro - otherwise not much around the hostel.

We stayed at Black Sheep just one night in a private room. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. The rooms were clean and simple and had everything we needed. The many shared areas were nice, too. There were several nice balconies and patios, one with lovely hammocks, a tv room, a kitchen, free bananas, etc. There seemed to...

Actually did not stay in this hostel since it was fully booked every day but I booked 3 very cool tours they organise. The staff is very friendly, organised and the hostel has a great laid-back overall vibe.
