After looking for hours on the web, I finally found this hotel. Cheaper than the average I had found (about 23 dollars), this hotel offers what every other does, but the location is very convenient if you are working downtown or if, like me, you are working yet have some time for shopping great quality shoes and sandals. I got a private room on the back of the building, so I heard no noiser other than the cleaning lady once in a while. I got an o-k-bed, a shower with both cold and hot water, a small cabinet that works as a closet, a desk with a chair (super convenient for my business trip), and even a small refrigerator. There are several Wifi Connections but for some reason, the one near my room didn't work. Anyway, it's a safe and good option if you are on a short visit in Ibagué and you don't need a pool :)…
This hotel is in the middle of Ibague, and even though the location is convenient, they have some very quiet rooms there. Rooms in the back are very quiet, and you don't hear any of the noise from the street. When I was there in December 2011, the price was 38.000 pesos per night for a single, and you have to add a steep 20.000 extra if there's two people sharing the room. They only take cash. This is a basic, but perfectly acceptable hotel, and it has hot water and TV. Beds are comfy. There are all sorts of rooms available, so just ask to see them before you decide on one. If I have some reason to return to Ibague, I will definitely stay here. The hotel is located on Carrera 4, and there are plenty of other hotels you can just walk to if this one happens to be full, but I looked at several others before deciding that this one was the best (for the price I was looking to pay).…
