Beautiful small boutique hotel that felt more like I was staying in someone's house. Katerina couldn't have been more helpful although she doesn't speak much English but that made it more fun trying to communicate over her delicious breakfast every morning. Stayed in the suite which had a little terrace overlooking the rooftops which was a lovely spot to read...

I had a great experience staying here. It was in a great, convenient location and easy to find. The staff were very friendly. There was a different breakfast every morning and it was always delicious and consisted of a main dish (usually eggs of some sort), bread, fruit, coffee and fresh juice. The property was lovely and quiet and the...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights, and enjoyed every moment. It's on a quiet street away from the noise and vendors - but only ten minutes walking to all points of interest. We arrived before noon and were greeted by a fresh iced tea, and quickly checked in. Service was great. Our room was small but nice,...

We were in Cartagena for a family wedding and took the entire house for 8 days, for our extended family of 8, 3 children (7,6 and 3) and 5 adults. The accommodation in Case Veranera was perfect for us, we enjoyed the small pool and breakfast was varied and delicious. Luis was friendly and helpful and Solena and Catherina looked...

Unique, clean, and friendly! My husband and I spent our 1 year anniversary there in July and had a wonderful time. It's a small hotel so the staff is friendly and attentive and do an excellent job keeping it very clean. There is a small pool that was very refreshing after the summer heat and we were served a delicious...

We had an excellent experience at Casa Veranera during our week-long stay in Cartagena in May. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had very good air conditioning (a must during Colombian summers). The daily breakfast was delicious and filling - Jose Louise took great care of us and served your choice of a typical Colombian breakfast or an American breakfast...

the place has a a balcony on the top with a nice breeze, a mini pool if you want to take a dip, cozy rooms with interesting architecture. Location is good, breakfast was good and made within 10 minutes of my asking every time.

We selected this 'boutique' cutie in the Old City based on a Trip Advisor rave. After we made reservations (easy) we read some not so great reviews so here's our opinion: We learned that the staff is Spanish speaking before we left home, but were told that one did speak 'pretty good' English. She was available only one hour of...

My girlfriend and I stood at Casa Veranera from Jan 25 to 30 and have to say everything was just wonderful. We had reserved the green room for 100,00USD/night but got a free upgrade to the suite. The room was very comfortable and my girlfriend really liked the decoration, I just think the window blind could be thicker because the...
