This is a wonderful hotel and its staff is superior. It is inside the Old City but too close to a very very busy intersection with the accompanying noise at all hours. We stayed in the Alegria junior suite and it was otherwise very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom could

Great Cartagena location, 2 minutes away from noisy streets. Lovely staff, kudos to Robert. Amazingly restored old building, other than lighting. No reading lights (decorative sconces only) in room, no light in shower, and the breakfast area is also very dimly lit. Very

My boyfriend and I stayed at San Pedro for 3 nights on the last stop of a 10 day trip from Bogota to Medellin and finally in Cartagena. We were met by hotel staff as soon as our taxi pulled up outside and escorted to the front desk - we were made to feel so welcome and to treat

Is there a rooftop bar in this hotel?
They have a rooftop but there isn’t a bar up there as such. You could always order a drink downstairs and have it sent up. The rooftop has place for about 20 people, views are nice and there’s a hot tub.

Hi Nancy, I'm not sure about airport pick up but I'm sure if you contact the hotel they can advise. It is very easy to get a taxi upon arrival in Cartagena. There is a stand of registered taxis. The hotel is about 100 meters from the edge of the city walls/access to the ocean. Hope that answers your questions.

Can I purchase a Sangria at the hotel? For how much?
They have wonderful cocktails at almost all hours at very reasonable prices. I don't recall sangria in particular though.
