Rooms are small - but how much time do you spend in your room on holiday, especially when there are outside comfortable seating areas. Breakfast is served on the small roof terrace and is delicious- fresh fruit salad, juice, eggs, toast, coffee made when you order. Staff are very helpful even if some have limited English. The old city can...

This was one of my preferred hotel in Colombia. The photos don't do it enough justice. A colonial hotel renovated 5 years ago but it feels like it was done in the last year as everything seems so new and only the best of quality used. The beds and linen was so comfortable and a wonderful shower (and hairdryer).

We thought that the hotel was really nice as it had a colonial architecture style. However, it turned out to offer real bad amenities and service: 1. It has no warm water - the receptionist said that it says it on the description on booking that there is no warm water. It does not say it explicitly. 2. the room...

Price quality wise and location I would rate this hotel as good. Simple room, but the tiniest room we've ever spend the night in. It's around 6m2 so really small and it's difficult to store your luggage somewhere else besides opening your suitcase on the bed. Breakfast very simple and plain and you can sit on the roof terrace and...

Comfortable, clean, and quiet rooms but small. Breakfast was included and typical Colombian fare. Good location if you want to stay close to but outside of the walled city. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

This hotel is $60s USD range and well worth it. Upon returning, this is one hotel that may have ended my search. Clean, newer, updated. Space is not so tight. It was a worthwhile step up from the cheaper ones. I have been to several other hotels in the Cartagena area, including old town, where this one is. The ones...

The location is great if you're young and want to party. Media Luna is across the street, which is a popular drinking hole on Wednesday nights. Havana is also steps away (and also a top rated place to go out). I liked Baluarte because it was just close and far enough from the ruckus. Saint Roque (Indonesian food) is super...

We stayed here for two nights during our brief trip to Cartagena. This is a quaint hotel, that is right outside of the old city. We actually liked this, as it felt like a more 'authentic' area and still provided us with easy walking access to the old city. The hotel itself is adorable! The open courtyard in the middle...

They didn't clean the rooms everyday also but it was the bad Internet that I had I wouldn't return until that's been fixed. It it was average Internet....I'd return even though it's a bit pricey for the area. Oh and if you are single you can't have guests come up to your suite. So I wasn't able to bring people...
