Stayed here fir 2 nights then 1 night either side of a trip to Baru. Laura and her staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful, marking up a local map with restaurants and sites around Cartagena. The hotel itself is a converted old house in Getsemane, just a few doors down from the church and its little plaza which is a...

The first thing is to realize where this hotel is - Getsemani. We are experienced travelers, but we are also grandparents. We took a wonderful tour of Colombia with Odysseys Unlimited, which we highly recommend. The tour ended in Cartagena, where we wanted to add a couple of extra days. On the recommendation of the son of a friend we...

The hotel is small and charming. Walking through the door you are greeted by the excellent, friendly staff as you enter a small hall opening onto an interior courtyard. It's your own little oasis in the middle of town. We were offered a drink and took the lemonade. Delicious! There is a sitting area and small restaurant on the first...

Clean, cool, well designed hotel right in the fun of Getsemeni - it's small pool area on the roof is perfect to avoid some mid day heat. Santa Ana is an ideal place to explore Cartagena and is only 10 mins walk from the Old City.

We were so looking forward to staying at this hotel but on arrival we were told the hotel was full so we had to stay in the hotel next door which was 'the same standard'. We had no pre warning and the hotel was not the same standard yet we had to pay the same amount as Santa Ana. Management...

Maria and her staff made our stay exceptionally wonderful!!! Upon entering, we were greeted with delicious welcome drinks called Coco Lemonade. Quite, possibly the best drink I've ever had! We proceeded to our room, which was initially a queen size bed, although we requested twin size beds. The staff went out of their way to separate the mattresses to make...

It is very small but the rooms were lovely. I saw 2 of the 5 rooms. Breakfast was excellent! The ladies helping during off hours speak little to no English and during the day Maria José took care of our needs. She helped us locate an eye doctor, found a guide for a city tour and helped us with transportation....

This is a very beautiful mini boutique hotel in an old colonial building with only five very spacious room, very attentive staff, a great breakfast and a roof terrace with a tiny swimming pool offering great views across the city. It's a perfect love nest or refuge, the noise of the city immediately vanishes once you enter the courtyard. The...

My girlfriend and I stayed here in late November 2016. Her family is Colombian and this was her first trip to the country. This hotel made that introduction wonderful. I'll explain each of the stars I give this hotel. First Star - Location - Santa Ana is excellently located in the Getsemani neighborhood. It is outside of the main walled...

“Apparently the room at the front of the guest house is huge with a lounge area - my friend was invited to see it by one of the guests and couldn't get over it! However, I was very happy with our room - we were on the first floor directly at the back of the guest house if your back is to the front door. I've uploaded photos. NB: the hotel was not signed posted Casa Ana when we arrived - luckily our taxi driver knew it. Probably this is temporary but I have also uploaded a photo of it from the outside.”
