Disappointing. Like a B&B if you extracted all the quality, character, and charm. A $30 "hotel" for a $70 price. Your first indication that things are going south is when you enter the parlor of the main building and are confronted by an overpowering thrift store smell. Then, as the lights are turned on, and you see there's nobody there, you realize you're not...

A special experience and if you go to Cali definitely need to spend a night there. Nice looking building, inside gorgeous decorations resulting in a very warm interior. You right away feel like being at home. The manifold rooms for recreation or relaxing are definitely a plus. And the food, mmmmm, very well cooked. Another plus, for me at least,...

This hotel is unlike the rest in that it has the look of an old castle and each room is entirely unique and individual. The complimentary breakfast is generous and delicious and all of the staff and employees are extremely gracious, thoughtful, and kind hearted people. I also appreciated the dogs and cats roaming about the place just enjoying their...

I use to come here at least 3 to 4 times a year from last 8 years. The staff and the owner are very cooperative. Hotel has all basic amenities and very good restaurant. It is classy as well as cheap. It has a small pool as well as small gym too.

After much time in the forest and parks it was a delightful experience to have rainforest outside our window. The window being a balcony and a magnificent spot for coffee and birds. The character and architecture of the building gives you a surprise around every corner. It is an understatement to say staff were friendly, especially with our very limited...

Love this hotel! The staff were awesome...only a couple of minor issues...the beds/pillows are not very comfortable, in fact are very firm and one day there was an issue with having water...breakfast is very homey and delicious...over all its a wonderful hotel and I would stay again if I ever go back to Cali...

Nice hotel in a very central location in the city. Walkable to great hotels or taxis can get you anywhere quickly. Can be a bit loud outside as it's just off of a busy street but comfortable inside. Nice breakfasts. Good wifi. Little kids area with swings and slides is nice. Owner always present and friendly. Great little pool and...

Stayed in the hotel twice on our Colombia's trip. Was really surprised how nice it is, rooms are very big and comfortable, hotel is an old well maintained house, neighborhood is nice quite area close to some chops and restaurants. Good breakfast everyday and service and people were just wonderful. Highly recommended.

I booked online and when I got there they immediately gave me a room without even requiring me to sign anything or show passport. The hotel has a beatiful colonial atmosphere. Spectacular place. Very relaxed feeling and you felt like home. No complaints at all.

If you are going to Cali, stay at Stein. It is a home away from home. Fenomenal service, personal, giving and friendly. It's a quiet place, centrally located, has good food, nice rooms and is old fashioned in a really pleasent way. The owner Enrique Frei is a true gem and is almost always present and will accommodate you with...
