What is a very good hotel - well located is currently let down by the very large building site next door operating just about 24/7. Hotel is genuinely 5 star with excellent - if expensive laundry service. Rooms and facilities were very comfortable. In 6 months time all will return to normal.

Good location that can easily arrived by bus from airport (No.2 airport line) ,and near Chengdu subway. Traveling can been well educated about Tibet culture from their deco, printings, and facilities that you can know more about Tibet.

We were with Mercury Holidays on their escorted "Wonders of China" tour and found all the hotels we stayed in were of a very high standard. We spent two nights at the Ocean Hotel in Shanghai, 2 at the Tibet Hotel in Chengdu, 2 at the Titan Times Hotel in Xi-an and 4 at the Landmark Hotel in Beijing. We...

Nice hotel. Upgraded entire tour to deluxe rooms which were lovely. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. They have yaks cheese and yaks milk to be tried as part of breakfast offerings. All in all a great stay.

This hotel had a contemporary atmosphere, a good location and a friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of both western and Chinese options, including some Tibetan food. However we did have a few issues with our bathroom -- the shower leaked water all over the floor of the bathroom, the bathtub faucet was incredibly slow (we...

We were booked into the Tibet Hotel after flying into Chengdu from Lhasa, Tibet by China Focus, our tour agency located in San Francisco. We cannot comment on location, or cost of travel from the airport as we were brought in on a bus. The location is good for heading out to the Panda Base, so for us the location...

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of Virgin taste of China with extension to Chendu. The hotel was beautiful inside , all the staff were very friendly and the majority understood English very well so the language barrier was not an issue. The rooms were stunning just like in the pictures, and the food was excellent...

Good hotel, staff very helpful. Close to the wanda da plaza, open late and there's a few fast food places, including Subway - food chain- in the basement along with vanguard which I would describe as similar to whole foods/waitrose for the fresh foods. Hotel has no pool, gym open from 7 or 8am - depending on who you asked....
