Stayed here as part of a tour group. The hotel was selected for its location - very central, lots of places to eat nearby, a supermarket next door and an easy walk to several metro stations. It had nothing much else going for it. The room was very run-down and quite noisy from traffic. The hot water was tepid and... More

We stayed here for 1 night as part of a 2 week tour of China. The first room we were allocated smelt so strongly of cigarette smoke that we requested a room change. The second room was only a slight improvement on the first one, but we persevered as we were only staying overnight. Both rooms were very dated, with... More

The location is good, very near loads of shops, restaurants and bars. But the actual hotel is very dated and needs to be completely refurbished from the foyer to the cafe to the rooms. We were just in Chengdu for the panda reserve, so given it was just a one night stay this wasn't a big deal. I'd recommend considering... More

Postive thing about this hotel is the location. Near many cool and busy places, nice to walk down the streets in the evening! However, the hotel is in need for some renovation. Rooms are a bit basic and need to be renovated as well.

We were staying here as part of a tour to southern China. The hotel is old and greatly in need of repair. The bed was clean but the rest of the room was in bad repair (as was much of the hotel). We complained and were moved to a floor that had been "refurbished", but I'm not sure what had... More

This hotel is located right at the downtown for shoping experience. At the same time, the People Park and major sightseeing places are nearby. Great bakery is right at the entrance. Breakfast is mixed with international and chinese selections. Manjong machines are available for leasure.

This hotel was booked for us by our hosts in China. We were quite impressed to see their economical rates. The room were spotlessly neat and clean and everything was in immaculate shape. The free breakfast can be called a five star breakfast although we could not take a number of pork dishes and had to rely on eggs and... More

Based upon previous reviews, this hotel was exactly as expected. The hotel itself seems to cater to Chinese businessmen - the room was relatively clean, smelled of stale cigarette smoke, and was quite low frill. On the plus side, the windows opened, good water pressure in shower, the toilet worked, free bottled water, and the breakfast had a lot of... More
