Great hotel. The only odd thing was that there was a partially frosted window into the bathroom (as opposed to the fully frosted window in our other Chinese hotels). My friend cunningly built a wall out of menus so that she couldn't see the toilet when she rolled over in bed. A friend staying in a room with his grandmother... More

China - if you're going to welcome overseas tourists, please employ at least one English-speaking person at your reception desk! It is truly frustrating to play "charades" when you are tired, and just want to find your room! The hotel is very clean, modern, and the rooms were large with plenty of space, and good amenities. The elevators (2 of... More

I liked it. It's a bit different from any business hotel I've stayed at, but it's not bad in any event. We stayed here as part of a Gate 1 tour, and on the business suites floor. It was clean, quiet, and had a large shower, no tub. The room was spacious, with a flat screen (a couple of channels... More

On a very busy corner, near the main road, but had no problem with sound form the road. Lovely room, excellent bathroom and coffee and tea making facilities. Wonderful staff with a good deal of English spoken. Good breakfast, mainly Asian though. But bacon and eggs available. Highly recommended. A 15 minute walk to a very large department store and... We stayed here as part of our tour. Our rooms were good and the bed actually more comfortable than many. The biggest reason to avoid is that there are only 2 passenger elevators for the entire hotel - which meant at times it took 30 minutes to get from the breakfast room back to your hotel room. The only way... More

I would take the word "International" out of the title of this hotel. No English spoken. Staff were not helpful. Beds were rock hard. Non-smoking room smelt like smoke. Didn't meet the standard. Dont stay here. The only positive I could say about the hotel is the breakfast was ok. Wifi hit and miss.

Stayed here 3 nights as part of 12-day Gate 1 tour. While the beds were better than Beijing & Xian there were no washcloths provided, no coffee provided in room and the room was hottest of all the hotels. A stink developed (5 of the 22 rooms booked had it) and the hotel unable/unwilling to resolve. 2 elevators woefully inadequate... More

Checked in for 1 night and got a room that was nasty dirty, dusty, long hair on everything including the fake flower arrangement in the room, shower had mold everywhere. There were cups and a kettle but no coffee or tea. Checked in for 1 night later in the week and got a very nice room that was clean, well... More

The hotel and rooms are fairly nice. None of our 21 member tour group could sleep at this hotel, it was like a sauna. We stayed there one night and then returned two days later. Our tour manager informed the management at the hotel about our discomfort and several tour group members discussed the hot room issue with management on... More

My husband and I stayed two nights in this hotel as part of our Gate 1 tour. The rooms were clean and we had a good view of the city. We had no complaints at all, although as we are both tall, we felt the shower head was a bit low. We thought this hotel offered the best breakfast of... More
