This was the fourth hotel that we had stayed in, in less than two weeks, so my expectations were actually already a little low. The room was on the small side (our previous hotel was a Ramada) and the shower was tiny. The computer on the desk in the room did not work, and just took up valuable space. The...

The rooms are clean. The beds comfortable. The place has no character, but then neither did anywhere else we stayed in China. Fortunately, the bathrooms were clean and functional which is more than we could say of the facilities in some of the restaurants we visited on our tour. Isn't it a shame that the Chinese cannot produce clean water...

Arrived here after long 4 hour drive from end of Cruise on Yangtze River so it was a welcome sight! First hotel I've ever been in where there was actually a computer in the bedroom! (along with the normal tv.) However the internet connection was very slow but I think that can be a general problem in China with such...

Outdated and tired looking hotel. Bed linen was clean but carpets and curtains grubby. A/C didn't work well and room got very warm. We looked out on a residential street which was noisy with the window open. The over bath shower was made for short people and water pressure was weak. Breakfast was poor and had to search for plates...

We were travelling with Explore - the hotel was tucked away on what seem to be a residential street, nice location. The hotel was clean and the room spacious, bright and fresh, great shower, yes the bed was hard but I never slept on a soft bed on the whole trip and I think the Chinese sleep mainly on futons...

We read the reviews and were not sure what to think. The first night in this hotel stay of two nights, there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Not a good start. The staff was very friendly but didn't speak any English, as I think this is a hotel for Chinese tourists. Not a problem, except they also don't exchange...

We arrived at this fourth "stop" hotel on our 3 week Wendy Wu Magnificent China tour in the late afternoon, after an all afternoon bus ride from ChongQing. The hotel is acceptable, but somewhat tired and outdated. It is on a residential street-block between two more highly traveled and larger city streets. There are several different ATM machines around within...

This is a Wendy Wu tour hotel. Okay room but bed hard, as per usual. Kettle and Wifi. My room had no view and was quite small but perfectly adequate. Had a wander out of the hotel in the evening. There were lots of people playing mag jong, lots of hustle and bustle. We visited a supermarket which was interesting.

This hotel actually had a pleasant looking room for us, nicely decorated. I went to the lobby to ask for ice and was told it would be at my room in an hour - but it was there in 5 minutes. The electric kettle was clean & nice although it was so warm, I didn't need hot tea. It is...

The Furong Hotel is in a pretty good location with decent public transit connections to quickly get you where you want to be and pretty nice things nearby if you'd rather just walk somewhere. The staff had been informed that we are on our honeymoon and we discovered flowers and a jetted tub in our room when we walked in,...
