One of the key problem about this hotel is lack of maintenance, mold is growing around the hotel, shower is not fully function, air conditioning is not working correctly, bed is not comfortable. I am not a choosy person, but this is definitely one of the bottom of the list. However, the hotel located inside the beautiful tourism spot, and...

This hotel is right in the middle of the heritage spot. Each day, probably 100,000 tourists walk past your room. It's fun, it's vibrant. The hotel is just a very short walk from exit #3 of the Shan Tang St subway station, just one stop south of the Railway Station. Make a U-turn when you pop out of the exit....

The location was amazing. Right on the canal. Room OK. Very little English spoken. A bit smelly and run down. But if you can accept this the experience is more than worth it. Took a boat trip from the door and saw real China. Very close to MTR (metro) about 1 minute walk. Really suitable for people travelling around China...

Located in the top tourist spot of suzhou creek, the hotel has the best location in town at very affordable rooms. Rooms are big and you can see the creek across your window. One downside is the room is not heated enough during winter.

I stayed here previously and defended this hotel. However, when I went back the second time, I was not impressed anymore. As I said before the carpets are dirty. Well, it got dirtier! When we to the hotel, the room smelled so bad. The staff said it is coming from the bathroom pipes. We asked to change a room and...

The hotel is in a great location and is the old shanty style. It has the potential to be gorgeous with a coat of paint, new carpet and a good clean but unfortunately it is filthy. The first room we stayed in the toilet leaked and the air conditioner didn't work. We woke at 2am hot and the most dreadful...

We got the panoramic view room which was on the second floor. The carpet was dirty but everything else was clean. The view of from the balcony made everything worth it. The staff turned on the AC before we arrived and the room was nice and warm by the time we got there. The room gets a bit noisy, you...

Located in old parts of Suzhou at a canal; great room in an old, historic 2 story building. Not accessible directly to the main road because there is no driveway, so you need to lug your bags all the way out to the main road (200 meter). Taxi driver was not aware of this place even after providing him address...

I booked this hotel online and chose it due to its location to the old part of Suzhou. It is in walking distance to some great sites, the metro, visitor information and shopping downtown. The first thing one should know is that no taxi is able to take you directly to this hotel as it is located on one of...

“Take the river view, even though it may cost 50% more.”

“Its incredibly cheap. £120 for 3 nights for two people in Riverview Room with Balcony! Son had back room (still a twin) for £60 for 3 nights. No view at all. Still an amazing experience. And would strongly recommend. But dont expect luxury. It probably is for the area and it does smell a bit. and carpets a bit dirty. But still wonderful!”
