An only OK hotel that is not easy to reach from the railroad station if you have baggage. There are 3 flights of steep steps that have to be climbed to get to the street on which the hotel is located. Hotel is average. Please note that the hotel is located in an office building and that many of the rooms have windows with the view of a cement wall which allows in little light - of course - there is no view. Beds - linens are average - TV small - poor internet - bathroom adequate - no more. If you are staying there because of its close proximity to the R/R station - look further - there are several hotels that are better in quality and close to the station in the same price range nearby!
I was stay in this hotel for 2 nites. Good hotel with good location. Nearby luo hu shopping centre can reach by walking around 10 mins. Big room and clean. Will recommend this hotel for friend. price also good!
Convenient location but we only stayed for one night. The reception area was crowded with cigarette smell, which was not very pleasant for one prone to allergy. Fortunately the rooms were clean. Breakfast is self served and offers a wide selection.
1) Fairly good and clean hotel, good breakfast and good location. 2) Hotel will ask for ¥300 as deposit (which is unusual for us North Americans) 3) Only one reception staff spoke English. But he doesn't have the answer to simple questions that we had for him e.g. how much is the subway ride from Shenzhen to HK 4) Hotel room has condoms for sale WEIRD!!!
Room is clean and tidy. English communication is limited. Hotel restaurant is HK style. Good points: 1. very close to HK and can stay in this hotel and visit HK during the day. (half the price of HK hotel) 2. Professional spa and massage in the same building and not part of the hotel 3. Eatable restaurant 4. Close to the main Shenzhen shopping area (5-10mins walk) Bad points: 1. walking from the border to the hotel is not cleared. (2 route found, a. use the underground walkway to the end and then turn right to get the the main street where the hotel is. b) from the border exit, go the the taxi rank and there is a slip road to reach the main street where the hotel is (half the distance but will have to walk along the slip road: most of the chinese is using this route).…
Very close to the border with HK (Exit E2), use the underground foot path to get out at E2 (feel more safe and less chance of smuggling if you walk across the surface park). The hotel is relatively clean and gives you clean towels everyday. Room supervisor will check the room cleanliness every late afternoon (and prepare your bed). Restaurant do good HK style food and family set meal (for 2-3) is good value (GBP15) for 4 main dishes with rice and soup. Most of all, you can order your good value gadgets online and have them deliver to the hotel (NO delivery charge as it is inside China). You may need to get a phone card to give a contact number when ordering.
This hotel is situated at Luo HU at a walkable distance to railway station, MTR and shoping center. Hotel has very good guest rooms offering at a very competitive price. I usually stay at this hotel whenever travels for a business trip. Single room is quite good with all the facilities. Once single room was not available so I stayed in a double room. The wall between bathroom and guest room is made up of translucent glass so it could be little awkward if you are sharing the room. since I was staying alone so did not have any problem. Breakfast is not so good. Overall hotel is value for money.
This hotel is definitely cheaper and if you dont mind staying in a 3stars hotel. However i dont know why the toilet is really smelly. Smells like pee. I guess its their sewerage problem. This hotel even provide condom for you, hahaha! Their restaurant's food are so-so only. Oh! Be sure to go to the 5th floor (Lobby), the hotel is a lil bit far from mrt, so u need to walk to the station.
Bad staff, receptionist do not know english at all.. The breakfast is bad taste nearly inedible. Poor internet connection. However the room is clean and quite comfortable. The bathroom is quite spacious. The card key to hotel room sometimes error.
I stayed many times over 3 years. This place is good for a night or two as long as you dont need a good breakfast and internet. Manager Ms. Li presents with an insincere smile, no matter your complaints, She does not apparently have powere to fix anything, nor control over staff. Staff have no empowerment and no apparent accountability, but some are delightful in personality. Example is Tom, a long-term concierge who will do anything for you.. Room Air-Con is excellent to combat high temp and humidity. Internet is ridiculously bad! The TV system is Wi-Fi which takes incredible bandwidth. Idle employees download movies, which adds insuult to injury. So it is impossible to get even basic internet beyond email. Staff do not try at all to remedy this. So, expect to take your laptop accross to Shangri'La, or cross border to Hong Kong. It is a sort of like / dislike for me... convenient yet quite annoying.…
