I've stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past, and it's one of the best five star hotels in the city. Of course, there are better brands like the Pullman Dongguan Forum, but this hotel is located in the heart of Nancheng district with tons of places to eat and shop around the area This hotel is recommended for... I used to stay in this hotel back in 2003-2004. This use to be THE hotel in Dongguan. It was one of the tallest building in the area at that time. Service used to be excellent. I stayed there on my recent trip there because the place I usually stay - Pullman Forum Hotel (an excellent hotel by the way)... More

They offered our group a special rate of $98/night. What did I get? It's more what I DIDN'T get. My room was not made up on Saturday - I came back from a day on Virginia City's tourist spots to an unmade bed, no new towels, no new nothing! When I commented, as I checked out, that I felt ripped... More

In the afternoon, after checkout, I returned to the hotel lobby to get on a bus to Hong Kong. I needed to plug my computer into an outlet but because I do not have the appropriate adapter I was unable to. I asked a woman at the concierge who took 15 minutes of her time to help me find an... More

I had booked another International Chain hotel but the last moment glitch I was recommended this place by a friend. Thanks to him. It was a wonderful experience to be there, the rooms are very neat and of a decent size. Ask for the front view. The location is great in the middle of the town. The Staff speak English... More

First don't get the hotel to arrange a car it will cost 6 times the price of a cab from airport. On check in looks like its going to be okay sadly all pleasure ends at the lift doors - btw lift not always working so prepare to become familiar with fire escape. The hotel is like a ghost hotel... Location is good, rooms are large & decently appointed, Brekfast room serves a good choice of Chinese & western food, but Coffee is quite possibly the worst i have ever drunk. Wifi is not common in the rooms you need to request a router. My biggest complaint iss that the Gym is never open on time, actually never open. Next... More

I have had my extended share of international five star hotels in China Hyatt, Sofitel, Sheraton to name a few, but when you are given a five star china hotel, the standards pale in comparison to any of the international hotel standards. This hotel was built for more than 10 years and had won various awards previously, but to date,... More

Decent hotel reasonably priced, main advantage is its proximity to a long street of great food. Rooms are decently sized, clean and well-maintained. Apparently due to the great number of Japanese business travellers to this city in the much earlier days of development, they have rooms designed and catered to Japanese. Small differences, such as Japanese sandals and green tea... More

We travelled from Hong Kong to Dongguan for Easter vacation (April 2011) and stayed for 3 nights. We have 2 young children. Arriving at 11.45am, we were allowed to check-in another room when the original room booked by us was not ready. The hotel is right in the middle of Dongguan, with two giant supermarkets (Walmart and Carrefour) within 300... More
