I was pretty happy with my stay here. Very reasonable nightly rate, the room was large/clean, the bed was comfortable and it had some of the best wifi I have used in south China.the gym was lacking in equipment but was empty which was nice. I didn't explore much of the surrounding area but the hotel wasn't far from the... More

The hotel is 15-20 walk from Changping train station. It's kinda hard to find the first time and it's not the nicest place to walk. Alternatively, you can hail a cab it will take less than 5 mins. I'd say it is one of the largest hotels and better one in the area. The room is big and ok clean.... More

For the price (less than 500 RMB) this was a okay hotel, when I entered my room it was however about 31C, the room faced the setting sun, so I closed the curtains and cranked the AC down to 18C, the room cooled after a couple of hours but struggled, much like the internet service wireless, speed was a bit... I arrived/departed from Guangzhou Airport. By public transportation, the hotel is very easy to reach: I departed the hotel by taxi for a short ride to Dongguang trainstation (CNY 15), took the next departing train to Guangzhou East railway station by fast rail (160K/hr; CNY 55), and then next take MRT (line 3) from Guangzhou East railway station to Guangzhou... Everything about this hotel is good. Room huge and nice, huge bathtub. Breakfast is a little disappointed. Location is a bit off. They have free shuttle bus to most places if you can wait and not in a hurry. Would have cost easily USD $300 to $400 for a same type of room in Singapore. Best value 5* hotel I... More

Not to gush, but I really like Yihao International Hotel. Located walking distance from the Dongguan station on the CRH line between Shenzhen and Guangzhou, Yihao is a 4-star hotel for a reasonable nightly rate. Almost all the guests here are Mandarin-speaking Asians, yet I still find at least one or two managers who speak English. Located in a heavy... More
