Great place to stay if you value cleanliness, good organization, attentiveness and a good breakfast. Super friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, located downtown with cities best restaurants, the harbor and sea side...

Friendly, clean and inviting. Helpful owners were more than happy to answer our questions and point us in the right direction. Definitely recommend to anyone spending a couple of nights in Punta Arenas.

This hostal is a clean welcoming place with helpful owners and good rooms. The breakfast is great - laid out for you to choose. We were helped with tours and other advice while we were there. In all a quiet place and a simple walk into the town centre. A great restaurant opposite on the corner called Okusa.

The staff told us to pay in USD to save the taxes. That was a great deal - we thought. But we got an bad surprise. The price in USD was even higher than the price in Pesos including taxes. We tried to discuss this issue and showed her the daily exchange rate by Oanda. We were told that the...

This hostal is probably one of the more expensive hostals, but it was definitely worth the money, as it has hotel standards. The lady at the front desk had some recommendations for us. The room was nice, comfortable and the blankets were very soft. The bathroom was clean, but will need a renovation in the nearer future. The breakfast is...

First of all, I have to say that there are at least four hotels/hostels/b&bs in Punta Arenas with Patagonia in the name. This is for the Hostal de la Patagonia on Bernardo O'Higgins, located a few blocks from the central plaza. We just can't say enough good things about this place. It was a bit above our budget (100 US...

The front desk were more than welcoming, they let us park our Jeep right in front of the door. Comfy beds, great comforters and linens, very clean room and new bath towels… everything you'd expect in a hotel provided in a well located hostel. The breakfast is somewhat plain but acceptable. The location is easy to get to and convenient....

The place was overall very clean. However, like someone else had previously mentioned, the people at the hostal quote to rip you off. She initially quoted a transfer to the airport at $50(US) or $22000 CHL. We refused the offer and asked the lady at the front desk to call a taxi to come pick us up, she refused and...

The hostal is a good value with nice clean rooms at a good price. The friendly middle-aged woman at the front desk was helpful in booking a tour to the penguin island and an early morning airport transfer. Having just arrived in Chile, we were still unfamiliar with the currency and the general costs of things and trusted that the...
