A very well situated hotel with beautiful views of the strait. Rooms are big, but are a bit dark. Could also have had coffee/tea making abilities in the room, in particular since it was difficult to get coffee elsewhere in the morning before breakfast. Swimming pool wonderful, and the bath room on the top floor worth a visit in itself.

I've read plenty of Tripadvisor reviews where most reviewers rate a place 4 to 5 stars and then there are a few random reviews that say the place is "terrible". I typically discount those "terrible" reviews because I assume that the traveler is just incredibly difficult to please -- well that's not me and this is not one of those...

Located just a few blocks from downtown, Hotel Dreams is a gem in Punta Arenas. The building is new and the rooms are large with all amenities like flat screen TV, AC, minibar and if you get one with view from the Strait of Magellan you will have a wall to wall window where you will be able to watch...

This is a modern business-style hotel with the amenities you would expect, including an international breakfast buffet (reflecting the tastes of a variety of cultures) in the dining room. Beds were comfortable, the room was quiet and it was easy to adjust the thermostat to the right temperature. It was the only hotel I stayed at in Punta Arenas, so...

We stayed for one night. The hotel is new and well appointed. Great location, centrally located and excellent views of the harbour. The service was excellent, but we did have trouble with the central heating and "cooked" for most of the night (this was January) The night attendant tried to help on two occasions, but I don't think the heating...

I loved everything about this hotel... View was second to none over the straight off Magellan - I stayed on the 18th floor, the room was amazing with a massive tub, shower, bed (which was so soft), plenty of space in the room and the pool and hot tub downstairs was beautiful! Staff were so friendly and helpful, they even...

After staying at good boutique hotels for most of our trips, we decided to try a larger hotel in Punta Arenas, largely because of its central location and reasonable price. What we got was much more than we bargained for. It's a casino hotel and neither of us gambles or enjoys casinos, but that part of the hotel is separated...

We stayed here two nights – before and after our Antarctica adventure. It’s a beautiful hotel with two restaurants, a spa, and a gym. We stayed on the sixth floor and 10th floor, both with a great view of the water. We had a nice king bed, however it did NOT have a top sheet. Only a fitted one and...

We used this hotel before and after visiting Antarctica. It was just right for what we needed. We can also recommend Sebastian''s walk in the forests of Punta Arenas - enquire at the Information Centre.

Stayed at Dreams en route to and after trekking in Torres del Paine. Very new hotel with scenic location on straits. Rooms large and clean. Located within walking distance of two very good restaurants and historical sites. Very good hotel assistance as we stored bags until return from 5 days of trekking. Breakfast dining room beautiful straits view with excellent...
