The Singular in Santiago was disappointing but we found the Singular in Puerto Natales outstanding in all counts. It was the highlight of our trip to Chilean Patagonia. We even forgot that we were sleeping in a former slaughterhouse! The hotel cum museum magnificently rescued the history of the region without compromising the comfort of its guests. We had most... Stayed here only 1 night (was a great pity!) during a group tour in the exciting Patagonia region. The Singular is a very 'loft' stylish , five star hotel, in earlier times a sheep slaughterhouse (you can visit a museum in the hotel). We could experience The Singular as a very beautifully situated hotel (breathtaking view from our room to... More

The Singular is a beautiful hotel located on the shores of the Last Hope Sound. The architecture of the main structures is very unique and there is an interesting history behind this property. All rooms are spacious and adequately outfitted, the views are lovely. Massages at the spa were excellent after a few days of trekking. The breakfast was very... More

What an amazing stay we had at the Singular. I can only endorse everything that has been written about the museum/hotel. All the staff are amazing, how Dave the barman remembers everybody's name and what they drink is a wonder. The waiting staff are professional, the guides very knowledgeable, Sophia even had us eating berries from plants. The view from... More

A real 5-star hotel in an area of Chile where you won't find anything else like it. It was like a breath of fresh air. It is a great place to take day trips into Torres del Paine National Park from. We stayed in the park initially at 2 other places, and wished we had stayed here for 5 days.... More

I never thought South America would have so many amazing hotels and this one may top them all. Located approximately 1 hour outside of Torres del Paine National Park (although views abound in all directions), this hotel is part museum, seamlessly blending its past history as a meat processing plant with a modern, sleek, yet very warm and inviting hotel.... From the moment we arrived, the staff of the Singular excelled at making us feel at home and pampered. They anticipated our needs and made the entire stay most enjoyable. Particularly noteworthy were the efforts made by the Singular team to get our baggage, which had missed the original flight into Chile: on hearing this, the desk clerk took all... More

I am writing this review on the last night of a six night stay at The Singular on our honeymoon. The hotel doesn’t need another 5 star review, but I have been so impressed by my stay that I felt compelled to write one. The service is unparalleled and impeccable. Every new staff member we met throughout our stay congratulated... More

I took the full package and am so impressed! The guests are interesting, staff are fun, views sensational, guiding very well run, massages excellent and the architecture and history unbelievable! Dave at the bar makes an excellent old fashioned(s). All part of the deal.

In addition to the attentive friendly service and excellent food, I was so mesmerized by the unique transition of a huge sheep slaughterhouse/tannery/meat storage facility into one of the most interesting and lovely hotels that it made me want to become a restoration architect, The artistry with which this hotel inside the original buildings was designed is breathtaking.
