I spent 12 nights in this very cosy and quiet hotel in Douala. I must say that I was very impressed with the friendly and courteous staff. The meals were on point, while room service never exceeded 30 minutes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Douala.

it's basically a clean bed & breakfast lodging but you need to pay for breakfast. Room was okay, hotel set in a close, peaceful, serene & quiet. However, it's a bit expensive for the type of accomodation it is. If you need a quiet and clean accomodation, nothing fancy, then Tchero is ideal. I must however commend the hotel for...

Checked in the Tchero hotel based on reviews on this site and have to say that I fully agree with all positive reviews. The staff are friendly and helpful, the entire hotel is and looks very clean and well maintained, rooms are ok, not extremely large but sufficient even for a six weeks stay. The restaurant is simple but clean...

As with most things word of mouth recommendations are usually the best. On a recent trip to Cameroon I was recommend to try this hotel by several people, I had never heard of it but it was only recently opened so not previously available to me when I was resident in Douala. First impression on arrival excellent check in was...

Have stayed here several times since it opened. A small 'provincial' hotel in a safe area of Douala. The hotel must be almost 2 years old now but like a lot of the hotels in Douala it has been maintained well. Rooms are comfortable, own AC, flat screen TV and wi-fi throughout the hotel. Small restaurant next to reception, breakfast...

The prices are fair for food and hotel rooms. I stayed in a much more expensive hotel in Douala but wanted to change as here you really get quality for the money you pay. Internet is ok and free of charge. Food is really good and the prices are ok. Although the restaurant is quite small, it has a good...

Nice people; good location for expats; one of few places that you can use MasterCard - most places only accept visa. Food is okay, but local staff do their best to accommodate western and European dishes and flavours. Nice souvenir stand adjacent to hotel.

This is a small basic boutique style hotel just south of the main government and banking area of Douala-Bonanjo. It is a good location for those having business at the port or at one of the many government offices located nearby. No frills, but very CLEAN and great value. Private enclosed parking. Hotel has about 25 rooms, divided into three...
