The hotel is rated as 5 star but in my mind and from living in Asia its a 3/4 star. Hotel clean and friendly hotel staff. As it seems to cater a lot of Chinese and other Asian cultures the breakfast foods are very, very average. Its just 'OK'. def not glamorous, as one has in 5 star asian hotels... More

This hotel caters mainly for the Asien and Chinese population. You can see that mainly on the breakfast offerings, which are really below a 4* hotel (cheap cheese, no fresh pressed orange juice, no salmon, no refined pastries, but lots of cheap stuff....) from the 50 tables you are lucky if you find 4 with our culture who you can... Stayed 6 nights here in two interconnected rooms, first city view, and then with pool view and balcony. The rooms are a little bit old-fashioned, but very well maintained and clean. The king size bed we had was massive and comfortable. Linen was top drawer too. The wall sockets were plentiful and multi-region, so would take most plugs (check voltages... More

The saltwater pool is the perfect temperature, set in lovely gardens, and there is even some shade in the late afternoon (perfect for the fair-skinned who have been out in the sun at the temples all morning). The hotel is worth staying at just for the pool and clean rooms! The housekeeping staff deserve special mention, the rooms are serviced... More

Wonderful hotel and very friendly staff. Fantastic pool. Centrally located near the downtown area. Would've been perfect if our room wasn't directly over the new night club...music was very loud in our hotel room.

The staff at sokha Angkor hotel are the best. After my stay there I could not fault this hotel. I had to change rooms after a air conditioner played up. I was moved to a executive suite that was the most amazing room I've ever stayed in. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make my... More

Business or pleasure, couples or families every guest is treated like a rock star. Staff are welcoming and friendly only place I would stay. The food was great & got to love a $4 Cosmo. Beautiful hotel in every aspect and the beds are huge and comfy.

I chose the Sokha Angkor resort as it seemed to be an ideal location for visiting Ankor Wat as well as the market area. In terms of location it is excellent. The staff is helpful and polite. The swimming pool is very good. There is a new nightclub that has just opened and may pick up soon. The acrobat show... More

My partner and I stayed there for 7 nights and we weren't disappointed. The driver picked us up from the airport with a fresh towel in hand and a bottle of water (much needed after a long flight). The check in process took less then 5 minutes and at 10am our room was ready. The king bed could fit four... More

I visited Sokha Angkor in late July, travelling with my parents and all the first time to Siem Reap. The 2-bed room was clean and spacious even with an extra bed in it. Good wifi. Great breakfast, plentiful of options. Great location, just a couples of minutes of walk one can get to the night market, yet its location is... More
