When we decided to delay our staying in Siem Riep (no rooms available at our wonderful hotel) we booked at Villa Somali beacuse of the Tripadvisor review. What a bad suprise when we arrived there. The Villa is nice in itself with a great potential but it seems none mantain it. Everything seems dusty and it is. The garden is...

Our stay at Villa of Somali has been a great one. We are two male backpackers from the UK but decided to splurge on our New Year accomodation and get somewhere with aircon and a pool. This place was really great. The rooms were clean, with a fridge (crucial for the beer!), aircon and TV. There was a little dirt...

I stayed at the Villa of Somali in January 2012, just after it opened. For two weeks I took all the rooms for a group of international students I was teaching. Proprietors Tom and Somali are the friendliest, kindest people one could hope to meet. I have known them for more than 5 years, and would not think of staying...

My stay at the villa was very relaxed with the friendly staff being most helpful throughout. Okay it is not in the centre of town but the free tuk-tuk service worked for me and the peace and quiet was worth it after being in the city during the day and night. I felt like I was one of the family...

I spent 3 weeks in Siem Reap on an English teaching assignment, I wanted to stay somewhere tranquil and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown pub street area.... I also...

I cannot explain the pure joy of staying at the Villa of Somali. We were a big group, and it's a small place, so we'd almost rented the whole place out. But it's like a home away from home, with the most comfortable rooms, a balcony, wooden floors that you can walk on barefoot (in fact, it is recommended!). The...

We booked our three nights stay at Villa of Somali a few days before our arrival, using the website booking.com. We received a confirmation from the website, but did not get any reply from Villa of Somali. Just to make sure, we decided to send them an e-mail, confirming our arrival time, and asking for a pick up from the...
