We arrived from Laos to Siem Reap pretty late at night, due to our malfunctioning bus. After being asked by a thousand Risha drivers to be taken to a hotel, we were finally on the way the "Golden Temple Villa"....or at least we thought so. The problem was that our Riksha driver made a mistake with the hotel name and... More

We stayed there for a few days and it was terrible. The food was awful, our tuk tuk driver recommended by the hotel completely ripped us off and the staff was really not helpful, and finally, the rooms were below average and not super clean.

We stayed for a week (just because of the value for the room). Big room although house keeping never came in for the 7days. The bathroom had an unfinished plumbing pipe coming out of the floor and electrical cables from where a light swith once was. The room also had cables hanging out of walls from unfinished wall lights. This... More

A tuk tuk driver took us here for free so I wasn't expecting very much. However I was really pleasantly suprised, lovely big rooms with a/c, a tv (no English channels) private huge bathroom, tiny balcony and the best bed I've slept in for a long time! The owner can appear a little surly at first but take the time... More

I didn't stay here this year as I was staying with a friend just outside the town. I came in to say hi and ask if they minded me using the wifi, which of course they didn't. I also ate here a few times. The menu is varied with a mixture of Khmer & western food, loved the smoothies! Service... More

$60-70 AUD in reil went missing from a pair of shorts that went to their in house laundry service. When we approached the staff, they were not prepared to investigate and basically turned their back on us in relation to the missing money. The laundry lady come down and denied ever seeing the money. We were charged $20 per night... More

We stayed here for 3 days while we were visiting Ankor. Really nice big rooms. AC, TV, Pool, really couldn't ask for more. The place is very clean, very well priced, and had good food. They were able to set up all of of Tuk Tuk rides and our bus to Bangkok. Recommended

We spent there 3 days and that was enough. Extremely impolite service! I needed to turn 50$ into smaller notes so I went to the reception to do it. The guy was researching the note for a few minutes and finally he said that he 'wasn't trusting that one' and he flatly refused to exchange it. Needless to say, the... More

“I would not suggest anyone to stay at this hotel. If u look at any budget hotel or backpackers u can find easily at the city center and many type of the budget hotel. But don't u ever stay at this hotel. The room are not safety people can easily enter from the balcony. It is very dirty, under maintenance and horrible hotel.”

“SCAM! I am a backpacker on Month 5 and this is my first bad review. This specifically involves the man who works the desk at night. I arrived at night from the bus stop I hired and paid the tuk tuk driver who suggested and took me to this hostel (should have been a red flag). I paid the tuk tuk and arrived at night and was checked in by the man working the desk at night. When I checked out two days later the man who works at the night was the one who checked me out as well. He told me $29.00. I told him that was not accurate and he said I did not pay the tuk tuk. (The tuk tuk and the hotel are completely separate entities.) I gave him $30.00 and he only would give me $1.00 back refusing to give me the correct amount back. He also refused to give me a receipt for the transaction. I was stuck. He wouldn't give me anymore than $1.00 back and refused a receipt. The next day I went to the day staff and told them my situation. They pulled out my invoice and said that my total bill was actually $24.00 not $29.00. The man working the night desk completely scammed me. Please, trust me and don't stay here. The rooms may be nice but who knows what will happen with the night staff. Also, my friends went to the wrong floor by accident and tried to open the wrong door... And the key worked! They are good people so shut and locked the door but anyone can get into the rooms. Safe travels backpackers - stay away from this place. :)”
