Bed looked great - huge and wooden - but you could feel all the springs and the pillow was rock hard. There were two dead cockroaches in our room, one on each night of our stay. I appreciate they do get everywhere but we did find it a bit strange that it really looked like the same dead cockroach had...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights, we originally booked a private room with a fan but were pleasantly surprised when we were given a room which slept five, had a/c and a balcony! The staff here are really friendly and helpful, as is the owner who booked bus tickets to Bangkok for us. It's really clean, and...

We stayed here 2 nights in a double room and it was great. It's a short walk from pub street and loads of bars and restaurants and the owner Brian is more than happy to help. Only complaint would be weak wifi and rock hard pillows. Definitely recommend!

We stayed here for 4 nights. It was terrible. We were woken up by drilling and banging at 7 am every morning. Everything was covered in dust and we were attacked by a giant cockroach. To get to the hostel you have to walk past an open sewer which smells like dysentery and cholera. Don't stay here

For $70 for a 3D2N stay for 5 in the family room, this was an incredible bargain. Plus they have free tea and coffee at at the reception and they even have free bicycles that could be used by the guests. There are restaurants and cafes nearby, the bus station to Bangkok is only about 4km away and the Angkor...

For $50 for 4D3N for 2 i can't complaint much. The hotel is so strategic to all main attractions such as Old Market, Pub Street, Night Market, Artisan D'Angkor, massage centres, Muslim halal restaurant, mosque etc. All of this can be accessed by just walking, Tuk-tuk is always ready in front of the hotel. The room is big (for 2...

From the looks of it there is a lot of renovation going on here. What was once two levels is now four. There were some construction noises but it was bearable. I would guess it could be finished by 2016. Beautiful wood accents everywhere. Quiet location. Other hotels near by. Bar and eats real close. Massage and tours everywhere. Cinema...

I was told the day before I was set to arrive that there were massive complications to renovations and they couldn't accommodate me. It might have been nice to be told a bit earlier. I mean, even if someone broke a sewer pipe or something, I would have like more than a singular line email.

We looked this hostel up on Hostel World and it got some pretty high reviews due to its location relative to Pub Street and prices. We found that that our experience matched that of most other reviews. The Hostel itself was quite nice, the lobby had plenty of space for you to hang out and many cats to just chill...

We stayed here for 4 nights in an en suit private double room with A/C. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and the hotel is located around a 5 minute walk from Pub St. The only downside was no matter what temperature we set the A/C to it seemed to just keep blowing out very...
