This place is walkable distance to the night market (about 15 minutes top). I stayed in a single room with a queen bed. Since the bathroom is a wet room (shower in same space as toilette and sink) it flooded while showering and took a little while to drain all the water. The rooms are very basic and the sheets...

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Geckos everywhere, which is a good thing if you've not been in this part of the world before--they eat the bugs. The location is good, Siem Reap is tiny so entirely walkable. The bad is that there is a metalworking shop next door, and about 50 shrieking children from 7 AM until around 8 PM....

The rooms are not great, beds were fine but shower wasn't great and some of the power outlets weren't working. Location is average, about a fifteen minute walk to pub streets and the market, or a cheap tuk tuk ($1-2). The staff were very friendly and helpful but didn't speak very good English. All in all, if you want a...

Sam So Guesthouse is small but very nice, friendly. I came to the hostel very late due to some accidents on the way from Phnom Penh to Siem Riep, the receptionist welcomed me very friendly, he even let me use his phone to call to my family in Vietnam. The host and his wife are so nice, they always ask...

My stay at Sam So Guesthouse was truly exceptional! The building has true character and it reminds you of the French-Cambodia. The guesthouse has a balcony on every floor, which offers a nice tropical view of Siem Reap. It is a relatively calm and quiet area, which was perfect after a long, adventurous day in Angkor Wat. In regards to...

Arrived at Sam So Guesthouse after long flights from Johannesburg via Singapore and was greeted by very friendly people. The facility is in a bit of a run-down part of Siem Reap but is clean and one gets reminded slightly of the former colonial era in Cambodia even to the physical age of the building. Linen is a bit worn...

The room was basic, clean and just what i needed and expected. Wifi worked perfectly and the room was quiet as well. Breakfast and the pick up service are a nice plus. And the tuk tuk drivers from the hotel were the best! It is a bit far from pub street, but I just took a tuk tuk (5 mins...

I was welcomed to Sam So Guesthouse a couple of weeks ago for two nights as part of a 3 day Amazing Angkor experience. The room had excellent air con and wifi, and was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The guesthouse is located in a very convenient location, walking distance from Pub Street and the Night markets. I'd recommend it...

I travelled to Siemp Reap with a night bus from Phnom Penh and the guesthouse offered a free pick-up from the bus station. The staff is friendly and always ready to help in any situation. They speak English and the head is also a professional tour guide in Italian. The guesthouse is only a few minute walk from Pub street...
