From the moment we arrived, we loved it! The welcome at reception was warm and sincere, and the long cool drink offered to the whole party was really lovely The rooms are set in a tropical garden with plants, rivers, fish ponds etc (take plenty of mosquito spray, although room spray was provided) We had six in the party and...

Definitley worth a stay! It is set out with little Khmer houses/villas in a tranquil jungle like setting. Friendly staff, who are either students and all range from 20 years old upwards, be patient as some are learning english but are so attentive and genuine. There are two miniature poddles?who live here with the owners who love to say hello....

Before we start I will acknowledge that we had friends who had managed The Rivergarden whilst the owners were away. That is why we stayed there. If you want true a high rise resort with gated style living this is not the place for you. If you want an oasis in the city with tropical trees and palms, water features,...

Hello Andrew & Jenni, it was so lovely to read your review, as it is exactly what we are striving each day. A hidden oasis in a beautiful jungle and pool surrounding, with delicious food and drinks, and with unique touches and amazing staff that give that even extra personal touch. A place where you will feel home. So glad...

This was my third stay at RG. The upstairs Khmer cottage was like a tree house with mod cons. The staff bend over backwards to please and Deb is a wealth of information on local matters. We did the Cooks in Tuk Tuks activity and I was thrilled to learn the cooking methods and the market tour was exciting and...

We booked this hotel based on The Guardian's review of best 10 places in Siem Reap and I would say it is an OK hotel based on my experience (I have been working in the travel industry for 16 years) but not as special as mentionned. Herewith find some information you might find useful: -Nice garden with ponds with fishes...

Thank you Sandra for sharing your feedback, always very useful indeed. We are pleased to hear you experienced our lovely garden, spacious room and amazing breakfast (did you try our restaurant or bakery too?). We love the area as its close to the center, but also a bit like a hidden spot. You are right that the pool can be...

We stayed for 7 days with friends and 2 children and couldn't recommend the RiverGarden more! All service was exceptional - from booking, to transfers to and from the airport, reception, the restaurant, housekeeping and the bar! Our children had a wonderful time exploring the gardens and ponds and loved falling asleep to the sounds of the frogs! And the...

We stayed here for 4 days so we could see the temples and were very lucky with our choice. If you decide to cycle to Angkor Wat or Srah Srang (White bike hire is 2 dollars a day, and to my mind cycling is the the best way to see the temples). For a sunrise, this is the place to...
