Elephant valley lodge is a very beautiful place to stay in a typical african way. Food and services were excellent and tents are very comfortable and deeped into wild nature. Unfortunately the staff is really unsatisfactory. First day of game drive we had a bad experience with a guide and we ask to change him for another guide, since we...

Ester& Richard are great hosts that go above& beyond to make the experience here fun, personable, and memorable. 38 of us arrived and we were all treated like family. Food was great. Staff is so friendly & helpful. Accomodations are rustic but more than adequate- this is Africa not Australia. Loved waking up to the bird songs, wild animals, sunshine....

Stayed here for just two nights, but saw a myriad of animals at the watering hole and during game outings. Highlights of the hotel include frequent animal sightings at the watering hole, well appointed, comfortable luxury tents, good food and a small, but wonderful swimming pool. Management staff was fantastic. They were knowledgeable, attentive and eager to help. The rest...

Elephant Valley Lodge wa a highlight of our 4 week trip to Africa. We had a great guide, exciting game drives, excellent food and superior customer service. While eating dinner one night at their Boma, we saw 25 elephants, several giraffes, a honey badger and some impalas at their watering hole. That was quite a show-all for free. We had...

Arrived late after a long day and a bus breakdown in zimbabwe. We were greeted. All very nice but the managers took 40 mins to issue keys as they were continually trying to make jokes. Dinner was at 8.30 but african time. Very long day. Next morning up at 5.30 for game drive. No electricity. Pitch dark. Reported to management...

Stayed here 2 nights in September. Our tent #14 was clean and comfortable and had a porch that looked out on the watering hole. Food was buffet style and good. Excursions to Chobe NP, both vehicle and boat were great. Saw an amazing number of animals and birds. Would have liked our guide to be more interactive with the group....

I stayed in the lodge three nights with my sisters. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) were excellent! I really liked it. The staff are very friendly and they definitely go beyond the duty line to make sure you enjoy your holidays. The ranger, Vasco, was very knowledgeable and he made sure we saw lions and leopards. He was great....

My family of 11 adults stayed at EVL for 3 nights June 2014 The permanent tents were very comfortable and clean with indoor bathrooms + showers. The staff was very friendly, greeting us with local songs and assisting us with anything we needed. The managers couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. They were able to "help us out" with...

This hotel was the most amazing part of my two week trip. First of all.. nothing compares to the game you see in Chobe. Especially if you have the right guide, which Elephant Valley has the best one named Zambo! He never missed an animal, he could spot the smallest animals from miles away. He knew every answer to every...

My experience at Elephant Valley Lodge was really incredible. You are just outside of Chobe National park where there is so much game to view. The staff was so friendly, they really made you feel welcome and made sure anything you need is taken care of. Even though there is a fence around the compound, there are animals all around...

We are situated in the Lesoma Valley (corridor between Chobe National Park and Wangi National Park). All year round waterhole in front of lodge that has daily visitations of all game including BIG 4. We are far enough away from villages and towns to enjoy the natural sounds of the bush (lions roaring, hyenas calling and elephants trumpeting). We have 24 hour electrical power, with fans and electric blankets (winter only) plus the whole property is secured by a perimeter electrical fence to keep out dangerous animals.
