Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We had a very pleasant stay here. The lodge was clean and spacious. It is nicely situated close to town where you can stock up on supplies or grab a bite. All our needs were cared for including the tours we wanted and laundering of our clothes, for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the area is affected by frequent, planned electricity outage and no generator was on site. The owner promised that they would have a generator soon, so that won’t be an issue next time. We hope it will be sorted for the next visit!

Great location to set up as base to visit Chobe National Park. Each "cottage" is a well furnished one bedroom house. Walking distance from shopping area, was extremely easy to get things done. Located on the main road, along the Chobe river with a pavilion where the guests can enjoy the river and nature, as if in the middle of the bush and not in a town. The guide recommended was extremely good, we had a fabulous time with him in a boat tour and evening safari.

The location is fine. Excellent service. Firstly I spoke to Mrs. Williams via the phone and promised someone will communicate in the morning the following day regarding booking and quotes. Exactly that happened, Boi called the following morning to get missing details. Quote was sent as per our agreement over the phone. On my day of travel I got a call asking about if I'm still coming. Our three night stay at Chobe River Cottages was very enjoyable. The cottage was clean, spacious, quiet, beautifully air-conditioned and everything worked! We especially liked the availability of electrical outlets and wi-fi with adaptors for different plugs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very close to several excellent restaurants and a Spar market and shops, all within a few minutes walk.The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to self-cater.

The spacious chalet offered us the comfort and privacy that we needed. The owner made sure everything is working well and no facilities are missing, paying great attention to the details. We loved the garden, the verandah and the pool and the deck with a view to the river that's just 2 minutes walk from the chalet.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chobe River cottages. The 1 bedroom unit was very clean and nice with lots of space for 3 people. The kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare some meals. It had a nice veranda with outdoor sitting overlooking the courtyard. The pool was nice to cool off in on a hot day. There is a deck overlooking the river behind the property where you can watch the sunset. The location is great, its right in town within easy walking distance of the shops, bank and restaurants. KB was very helpful doing our laundry, booking us a boat tour and restaurant for dinner as well as a taxi to the Kazungula border crossing when we left as we were heading to Livingstone. Overall, I highly recommend it.

We loved the place! It’s just like a small, wonderful house for yourselves. The kitchen is stacked with literally anything you need ! The patio is so cozy, you can cover it with curtains for privacy and mosquitoes..all in all a perfect place ! Very clean. It is just a short walking distance of a minute or two to all main shops and restaurants as well. Definitely would go again!!! Also the Price is reasonable! The staff ultimately friendly! One little point is to mention, if you get there or have to leave out of office hours 8am-8pm you need to mention it before, since there wouldn’t be a possibility to get in and the bell or phone for those times don’t seem to work.

This was our second stay at Chobe River Cottages and we enjoyed it very much. Everything works! There are plenty of electrical outlets for charging our cameras and other devices. The owner went out our her way to help us buy food while we were quarantined for a day (COVID!!!).

Good evening. No the beds do not have nets so we recommend that windows and doors be closed after 4.40. both the bedroom and lounge are air conditioned. The varanda has mosquito netting curtains and coils are provided too.
Good Morning.
Unfortunately you can never be guaranteed sightings but the Chobe is specular in September (though a little hot) and you should see a of of animals. We use Big Sam Hubba and Malachite Safaris for all our activities. They are both citizen owned, professionally run and good value for money. When you book voice your concerns about being too cramped so that they are aware of your needs.
Oh my goodness that is a long time ago. I wish I had seen the area then. You will find it much changed. Our accommodation is ideal for your requirements. Two adults and 2 children can be in one cottage and the other 2 adults in another. We have a sleeper coach in the lounge for the children.
We assume that you were actually trying to ask the people at Chobe River Cottages, but this section is for asking travelers. We stayed there in August 2016. The staff were very helpful and I am sure that they will be able to answer all your questions.
There are more places to choose from in the Kasane area.
