Stayed one night in a matrimonial room for 70$. Its totally disappointing for that price... everything is really old, except of the bed everything seems to be 20 years old, dirty and damaged. the computer in the lobby doesn't work either. the room is quite dark and not very friendly. we expected sth nicer for that price and a 4... The place was well stocked and the air and heat worked well. This is located in a neighborhood and just too far from any activity. The room was clean and the staff helpful, but the pool and hot tug and sauna are not at the hotel they are several yards down the road. If you want silene this is the... More

Unlike most hotels which provide the client with items such as various towels, more than one roll of toilet paper, or complimentary food and beverages it was a disappointment to see this hotel offered none of such services. To add to this, free wi-fi is advertised at this hotel and sadly there is none at times or it is very... More

We stayed here one night in February prior to flying to Brazil as part of a 5-week holiday. We have stayed in a variety of accommodation, from cheap hostels to high-end hotels. We arrived at 12pm to be told by staff that the room was not available until 3pm. I asked if the room was to be ready any earlier... More

Stayed here one night only as our other hotel was full. It is in a residential area with nothing else within walking distance. We booked here because of the picture of the pool. However it is a half block away as part of a fitness club. Very, very misleading. I would like to see thst picture removed. Check in is... More

This place was so dissapointing. The actual setup is great, a little central courtyard with rooms all around on two floors, with tables and chairs outside the rooms which are funky and basic and have kitchen facilities and aircon. So the place would be great as a backpackers hotel at $50 a night maybe, but its not, they pitch it... More

Unfortunately we were only overnigting, so we didn't have time dip into the lovely pool at the modern, well-appointed racquet club 2 minutes walk away. Updated (but very small) bathroom, lovely bed linens and in-room A/C. Very courteous and helpful staff. Enjoyed the generous "Americano"breakfast of fruit, toast and eggs in the spacious courtyard. Didn't have occasion to use the... More

Hotel Urbari was a pleasant find with a big shady yard with a constant breeze, and an adjoined private area to sit and eat. Or read or have a beer, or all of the above! The room had a kitchenette which I use (I am here now, writing this review just outside of my room) to make small meals and... More

Reasonably priced one bedroom efficiency in a quiet,better-off, residential area, offers the budget traveler a pretty good bargain. Breakfast is included and there is a private club (bath and tennis) down the block where you can swim or dine etc.The rooms are a tired and worn but comfortable. The front desk is especially helpful if you speak Spanish. They will... More

“1st floor rooms are better, check that if you want a twin room that there actually two beds and not an awful uncomfortable fold out sofa.”

“Some rooms are larger than others so make your requests known. The rooms are all accessed from the outside, like a motel. Sometimes, due to the clinic next door, you notice postoperative plastic surgery patients who are recuperating here and the staff has been seen bringing meals to their rooms.”
