The hotel is located right behind the cathedral, facing a relaxed plaza. Tacky decor in the style of the Jesuit missions in Bolivia. Friendly, helpful staff. They can tell you where to get trufis to go to surrounding towns. Basic amenities, fairly spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Our room had a small balcony looking out onto the small plaza and...

We have stayed at Misional for eight days in the end of January. Overall, the feelings are very mixed. The location is very central, just behind the main square and the cathedral. While this allows access to a number of restaurants and hot spots, it also places the hotel right on the route of the yearly carnival practice runs (more...

Hotel Misional was a very pleasant discovery when I walked to the Plaza 24 de Septiembre along Independencia from my first hotel, Las Palmas. I switched to this hotel.
