I stayed at Union Street Lodging on a recent road trip through Nevada. I could not have imagined a nicer place to relax after a long day on highway 50. The room was very comfy, and had interesting information about the history of the railroads in the Austin area, which I really enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious (eggs, bacon, home fries,...

Traveling thru Nevada on the "Loneliest Road in America" we came to Austin after a long day of driving and saw that all the motels in town were full - not wishing to drive any more that day, we hit the internet and found this gem - called and were told there was a room available - thank goodness! Just...

What a great way to continue our trip on the loneliest highway. We were spoiled rotten by Dee our wonderful hostess (with the mostest). As we were the only guests, our breakfast was catered to our exact desires (blueberry Pancakes and crispy bacon and lots of coffee). I need the recipe as I thought I made great blueberry pancakes -...

We were pleased with our rooms, called Dee as we were driving to make arrangements. We were able to change up rooms once we arrived. Austin is a little town so don't expect big town amenities. Lots of history here and Dee was happy to share with us. The inn is a work in process but very comfortable and relaxing....

Our bedroom was very attractive with several places to sit. It is important to us to have good reading lights on both sides of the bed, and they certainly were. The bathroom had been completely remodeled within a few months, and the walk in shower with a "rain" type shower head was lovely. Our hostess, Dee, was friendly and helpful...

I was the only guest that night "Lock the door when you come in for the night, please". The Emma Nevea room is lovely. Dee makes great coffee and my 'over easy' eggs were perfect!. Don't stay at the motels you see on Hwy 50 in town -- stay here! Thanks Dee - see you next time, I hope! Dianne

We stayed here one night and were the only guests at the B&B. Our room was not ready when we arrived at 4:00. So our innkeeper suggested an early dinner while she finished cleaning. When we returned we moved into the very lovely Emma Nevada Room. This ground floor room is nicely appointed with antiques throughout. There is a patio...

Room had not been cleaned for a long time, bugs, dust, sticky bedside table, no lock on door. Shared bathroom with no lock on door. No Coffee or Tea facilities either in the room or lounge area. Stayed here because the reviews were good, all I can think is that the Hotel has changed proprietors. Would not recommend !

I am sorry you weren't happy with your room. There are locks on the doors, I would have been happy to show you how they worked. We have coffee and tea available, all you had to do was ask. We also serve both with breakfast. I also apologize about the dead fly, if you would have come and talked to...

We did not find the accommodation up to the standards of other reviewers. The overall cleanliness of the place was poor with dead bugs in the bedrooms and bathroom, however the bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable. We did not stay for the breakfast as we needed to be on the road prior to the 8'a.m. start time. Overall disappointing....

As I posted on your wife's review, I apologize for any of your issues, I wish you would have come and talked to me. We serve breakfast from from 6:30 to 9. We are flexible about that. We're sorry your stay with us was not pleasant. We would gladly have changed you to another room or refunded your money.

I prefer Highway 50 to Interstate 80, but lodging options are limited along this road. I stayed at this comfy B&B a couple of days last year, so this year decided to stay again on the last leg of a long road trip. The hosts are welcoming. Room is comfortable. I was in one with my own private bath. Breakfast...
