Funky older casino right on the California/Nevada line near Death Valley. It's a good location for the national park--about a 30-minutes drive. When I arrived, my bathroom had only been partially cleaned. The toilet was unflushed. I had issues with Internet connectivity. When I asked the front desk, the lady told me, "Oh yes. People complain about that all the...

Location was perfect, just outside the East side of Death Valley National Park. The room was clean, very large, and comfortable. Their steakhouse was great -even though we are vegan! We had a perfect baked potato encrusted with black pepper with steamed vegetables.

Everyone there is hard working. The check in gal also works in the mini-mart right behind her. The bartender also is the casino cashier and casino trouble-shooter. So it takes a lot longer than you think to either get a drink or cash out of your machine (no tickets, it's all done in person and you have to stay at...

Stopped over on our way through Death Valley. Clean hotel, amazing views from Lakeside. Very quiet wouldn't expect anything else given the location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Jacks Bar serves good burgers after a day of travelling DV

The RV park was okay for $20. Avoid the restaurant at all costs. Breakfast lunch or dinner, the food was over cooked. Better to drive the 30 minutes to Pahrump for a meal. Wifi was okay. No tv reception. Easy in and out with a big class A. Pool and hot tub under construction.

Stayed here for two nights in lieu of paying the ridiculous prices for lodging within Death Valley. Ended up being a great choice. If you stay here as part of a Death Valley trip it is about 30 minutes to the park via the 190 and 45 minutes via 178. Either drive is spectacular so it was worth the extra...

Stayed here with my family over Thanksgiving 2016 and found it to be a great spot for exploring nearby Death Valley. Only 20 mins from park entrance, great value and fun spot for young families. My toddler son loved the donkeys and pond out back with ducks. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. 24 hr convenience store inside and...

Interesting Places has place to eat that we used for Breakfast and Dinner while visiting Death Valley. Service was quick and attentive. Portion size was good, and food tasted ok. No Gasoline here, place was a welcome refuge in the middle of nowhere. Would stop again if necessary, and possibly use the Hotel. About 30+ miles to Death Valley.

A great family hotel for a Death Valley stay - reasonable room rates and a great cafe. After a long day hiking in Death Valley we were glad to have the large size rooms and friendly staff. Casino is small so not a concern for families.
