With a name like Seven Gables Resort, we were expecting maybe something quaint, maybe something Victorian, maybe some resort features. We were very surprised to discover a yellowish brown varnished wood building with some small rooms right beside it overlooking the black top/gravel parking lot. Granted, it is right across from Georgetown Lake, which is beautiful with great fishing. We... More

It's a struggle to give this place even 1 star. The salad bar was a joke and that's if you even get a plate. Had to scrape the bottom of the ranch to even get any and not much of a selection for the price. My "ribeye" if I dare call it that was more of a flat iron steak... More

Stayed here because first choice place was booked full. Conveniently located at the bottom of the access road to Discovery ski resort, room was clean, bed was comfortable and worked well for the one night we were there. Check in is in the restaurant/casino part at the bar but it is a low key, locals place. Breakfast was good the... More

Georgetown Lake is one of our favorite places to go ice fishing. At Seven Gables you can get a nice room at a reasonable price. In the winter their little motel is not very busy so you can usually get a room. I always call ahead to make a reservation. The bar and restaurant serve up a good hot drink... More

Didn't have a very good experience here. The place is really run down. It's like they haven't do anything to the place since it was built. Yes, it's one of the closest places to Discovery, but that's about it. You'd be better off staying in Anaconda.

We stopped in for dinner at Seven Gables after a day of skiing Discovery before heading toward Missoula. As we were approaching Missoula, I realized that my friend had left my iPad on the window sill at the restaurant. I phoned the and they said that sure enough, the iPad was sitting right where it was left. As we were... More

I had to give this place 2 stars because I remember the 7 Gables, back in the day and after perusing their "new" website, in which they claim a new "resort", our decision to eat their "high altitude" chicken was based upon that. Welllllllll, they may have reclad the outer shell and built a new motel, but the interior of... More

Pay in advance should have been a red flag! Room was not dusty - it was dirty! Window shades broken! Beds were messed up like someone had been laying on them. Not even close to what was presented on their website. Manager went with us to see the room and agreed it was unacceptable. We did get our money back.

The accommodations could use an upgrade but the price was okay. I am not sure if Resort is meant to be descriptive or just part of the name. The property sits on beautiful Georgetown Lake and I am sure it sees activity in ski winter and fish summer. We did however meet the owner. She was a wonderful lady and... More
