The hotel was sold a year or so ago and the new owners under took the task of a renovation that was needed 10 years ago. The renovation is really a major blah! They had an opportunity to make it a wow but its quite the opposite. The "new" rooms are dark, poorly lit with no light in the closet,...

I booked a night at the Graduate to celebrate my husband's birthday. The hotel is in a great location, close to main campus and very walkable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we already had plans for the evening but they were glad to provide suggestions if needed. I liked the decor and didn't think the room was too...

This property is conveniently located by the Michigan campus and is a quick walk to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Ann Arbor. In general, this is a decent place to stay. The rooms are comfortable but the HVAC does not allow for much guest control so it was very warm. Water pressure was weak. Coffee pot and nice...

Dear Rob S, Thank you for detailing your experience at Graduate Ann Arbor. While we are thrilled you enjoyed our proximity to University of Michigan and other attractions, we are concerned by the areas that did not meet your expectations. Our unique décor is inspired by collegiate life and Wolverine pride, and we sincerely appreciate your feedback regarding what you...

The rooms are rather small but comfortably appointed and the beds are very comfortable. Décor is traditionally collegiate but elegant. The best part is that it is within STEPS to the University of Michigan campus. Great hotel, Great stay!

I visited Ann Arbor in January 2017 so that my daughter could visit the University of Michigan. We stayed at The Graduate hotel and were happy we did. The hotel is set up as a tribute to being a student and the theme is carried out well throughout the property. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly...

Agree with everything jimgreiner said. Would add that for $25 valet fee cars should be in a covered space. In the winter it is a high price to pay to get your car returned to you with two inches of snow on it. Also, that plaid blanket pictured at the end of the bed had a pretty nasty looking stain...

Dear Magmilegal, Thank you for your review. While we are elated to hear you enjoyed courteous service, we are concerned by the challenges you faced. This was our second stay at the new incarnation of Campus Inn -- which had been our go-to hotel in Ann Arbor for years. The first time was back in June (during fabulous Restaurant Week), soon after it reopened. It was thoroughly renovated during early last year though room sizes didb't seem to change. We have stayed both times with...

The location is undeniably fantastic. You can easily walk to both the restaurants and shops off of State Street as well as to Kerrytown. But the hotel was poorly designed. Dark, dark rooms.
